Brant Park is nestled in a bend on the Grand River amid the historic communities of Brantford and the County of Brant. It is a great place to spend a weekend camping, or an afternoon enjoying sun and fun at our 1.25 acre swimming pool. Anglers can try the waters surrounding the park, or make the short trip to Whitemans Creek. Hikers and bikers can travel the many pathways through the park or pick up the S.C. Johnson Rail Trail, which links Paris and Brantford. Many canoeists stop, or stay overnight, when making a trip down the Grand River. Our staff is here to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Camping

Brant Park has over 400 campsites

including sites with electricity, water

and sewer connections, and

radio-free areas. Up to six people are

permitted per campsite. Check-in is

after 2 p.m. and check-out is before

noon.

Canoeing

Inquire at the gatehouse, or at the

canoe concession, for canoe and

kayak rentals. Many people who

travel down the Grand River spend a

night camping here. A marked

portage is available around Wilkes

Dam.

Swimming

Brant Park is known as “the place with the big pool.”

Lifeguards are on duty at all times at our 1.25-acre

pool, and lifejackets are available for use. A change

house and concession stand is available for your

convenience. The pool is open mid-June to Labour

Day and is closed during inclement weather. Note:

there is a pool entrance fee of $1 per person.

Picnicking

We welcome group events such as family reunions,

corporate picnics and weddings. We o�er two

picnic pavilions and �ve picnic areas. These

facilities can meet the needs of groups as small as

40, or as large as several hundred people.

WeatherBe aware of your surroundings and monitor the latest conditions for active weather. Seek appropriate shelter during severe weather during the day or night.

Quiet Hours11 p.m .to 7 a.m. No excessive noise at any time.

PetsPets must be kept on a leash at all times and cannot be left unattended. No pets allowed in the pool area.

We welcome group events such as family reunions, corporate picnics and weddings.
