The Association ADARA

In 2010, following the International Year of Astronomy two passionate students decided

to reactivate an Astronomical Association in the Valley. From now on, Robin and Héloïse get pleasure sharing with you their love for astronomy and helping you discover the beauty of our night sky. Adara aims to promote Astronomy through

diverse public observations, exhibitions and

events organized around special Astronomical happenings. We will be happy to share with you our passion with the naked eye, or through one of our telescopes available for the night.

Willing to discover the Ubayen night sky?

Adara offers several observation nights in the

Valley of Ubaye, either around Le Sauze or up to

the Restefond pass.

- Once a month for New Moon (perfect

dark nights): observation of the

principal constellations and objects of

the Deep Sky

- Due to the high luminosity of our

satellite, Moon exploration is a night

dedicated to the observation of the

Moon and the Planets visible at this

time

- « Meteor shower girls » night will allow

you to discover and enjoy the Ubayan

night sky and thousands of shooting

stars
