How to Buy & Build M4 Bonding Server from AWS EC2

For Debian 9.10/9.12 V1.3 Date20200526

1. Click https://aws.amazon.com, sign in and verify your account.

a. Select the region

b. Pull down the Services, and click the EC2,

c. Launch instance

d. seach debian, then choose the results in AWS Marketplace

e. Select the Debian GNU Linux 9 Stretch (9.10 or 9.12)

f. Here as t2 micro Free 750 Hours per Year as example or choose the t2.nano, actually base on your demands,

g. 3 Configure Instance Details-Auto assign public IP -Enable

h. Add tags & storage

i. 6 Configure Security Group – Pls check the large photo 6 Configure Security Group.png

j. Review Instance Launch

!!!!! very important step, 7-2 Creat key pair &MUST DOWNLOAD and SAVE it.

LAST Step, 8 Launch Instance

you can stop it to save your cost if you don’t use the server all the time, to start it when you need to use the instance, the

server public IP will be changed once restarted, keep your M4 server IP same as your EC2’s instance.

2. Connecting to Your Linux Instance from Windows Using PuTTY or by Xshell, etc.

Check here, https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/putty.html

run PuTTY, login as admin, by sudo –s switch to root, and by below commands to install the M4 bonding software,

For Debian 9.1x

wget http://dl.minemedia.tv/M4S/9.1x/debian9.1x.sh -O debian9.1x.sh && chmod +x debian9.1x.sh && ./debian9.1x.sh

Below information means the M4 bonding server installed, reboot the server by reboot command

Then reconnect it again to check the system version, pls ensure as below screen shows, means success

3. M4 Router Setup

a. Management URL is http://192.168.11.1, default password is admin, or by WiFi M4Pro-2.4G-xxx or M4Pro-5G-xxxx,

default password is 12345678

Mwan Server is the installed M4 Server IP (IPv4 Public IP), others keep same as the screenshot’s.
