The compact piezo is the ideal variant forthe dental unit in a surgery where thereis little room to spare. The controls arebuilt into the unit and the handpiece ishoused in the holder – compact size plusexcellent performance. The electronics isthe same as those of the micropiezo.

Scaling, perio, endo, restorative dentistry – mectron ultrasound can be used for anextraordinary variety of applications. A totalof 37 different instruments are available forthe various different fields of use.

The nitro-titanium coating on the surfacesof the instruments makes them tougherthan traditional ultrasound instruments.

Sets of instruments are supplied in separatesteritrays in which they can be both storedand sterilised.

LED-curing lampA simple movement and the starlight pm

transforms the scaling device into a LEDcuring lamp. Stop the water supply, fitthe starlight pm to the handpiece cord ofthe ultrasound handpiece and curing canbe activated by means of the footswitch. The starlight pm cures a 2 mm layer in10 seconds and its weight of only 75 gmakes it ultra-light.
