Job DescriptionJob title Data Integration ManagerTeam ITBand FTEReporting to IT DirectorManagement responsibility Responsible for designing and managing the enterprise data model Location SheffieldPurpose of the jobThe person appointed will be part of the IT Team responsible for developing the enterprise data model that underpins the architecture of the Bank’s portfolio of systems which includes BI, CRM, ERP and Core banking platform. The role will ensure that the master data schema across the enterprise is designed and implemented; any changes to the master data is assessed and managed; impacts to the upstream data sources and downstream data consumers are considered.The role will principally involve working with other business and IT application teams to help deliver the change and IT plans for 2017/18.

Main duties To provide a complete view of all data sources and their integration path. Mapping of information to appropriate locations in database Lead the integration aspect of all new data initiatives that impact our Business Intelligence Support a framework for ensuring that all projects consider data and the downstream impacts of any changes Maintain the Business Glossary and Taxonomy Document and maintain the Organisation data model Testing to validate that data is properly uploaded and rendering as intended Owns logical and physical design of the data warehouse and analytical cubes Active preparation for systems / interfaces evaluation Provide guidance to all parties to help understand key trade-offs and make informed decision Hands-on experience with managing third party data suppliers’ relationships, a track record of driving great service from

them and review design specifications to ensure they fit within the organisation’s data architecture Develop and maintain all the internal Data Integration processes for the team, ensuring they are fit for Develop key performance measures for the Data Integration and quality. Provide regular reporting and progress updates to

key stakeholders Manages outsourced service provider and any interim resource employed for development

Knowledge and experienceProven experience in implementing or developing Business Intelligence platforms.Strong knowledge of Data Integration industry best practicesProject Management / Technical Delivery experience.Strong analytical and numerical skills are essential, enabling easy interpretation and analysis of large volumes of data.Knowledge of SSRS, OLAP, SSIS, SQL with strong data manipulation capabilities.Cloud and hybrid data integration Experience of managing and integrating multiple data sourcesExperience of measuring and improving service delivery within a data environmentDeveloped and worked within an effective data governance framework where processes and documentation are clearly understood and managed.Experience with similar roles within financial services or public sectorBig 4 or major software house experience
