British Blue Calf Show Schedule

Rules of Entry
1. The show is open to all UK born Pedigree Registered Calves
born on or after 1st January 2012.
2. The classification will be decided and sub-divided into
appropriate age groups after the entries have closed, and
classes will be provided for the following:-
a) Male Calf born after 01.01.12
b) Female Calf born after 01.01.12
c) Young Handler Class (16 & under)
d) Progeny Group
(2 calves by the same sire, either sex out of different dams, any
breeders.)
Exhibitors can enter into this class on the day.
Calves entered for class ‘D’ free if entered in classes A B or C.
Rosettes will be awarded to the animals standing 1st, 2nd, 3rd
and 4th in each class and a championship sash will be awarded to
the champion calf
3. An Entry Form must be completed to enter in the calf show
and an Entry Fee of £5 per Calf made payable to the Border
British Blue Club must be submitted with the entry form and
returned to: -

4. All entries will close on Friday 8th February 2013
5. The show will commence at approximately 11am
6. It is essential that, the following documents accompany the
animals to the show premises: -
CATTLE PASSPORT which will be duly stamped in the appropriate
place by the Border British Blue Club.
7. A limited amount of straw will be provided. Any further
requirements must be brought by the exhibitor.
8. All cattle must be adequately trained to lead by halter.
