Dear parent,
It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as the Head Teacher of Britannia School, a traditional British Nursery School in Moscow. At Britannia School we follow British Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. The language of instruction at our nursery school is English. All our teachers are British and are very experienced. When you visit us you will see happy children enjoying their learning experiences and making excellent academic progress.
“ I have two main passions in life – children and teaching. I believe that the knowledge and experience that I have built over the last decade uniquely positions me to run a school where children are able to reach their highest potential. At Britannia School, we place the emphasis
on each student as an individual and we respond to his or her needs accordingly”.
The early years in your child’s development are the most important ones as they set the
foundation for their education for the rest of their life. We believe a child’s early years’
experience should be happy, active, exciting, fun and secure. It should also facilitate their
development, care and learning needs. We believe that Britannia School provides all of this to a
high standard.
I hope this prospectus gives you an idea of what Britannia School is all about. It would be our
pleasure to give you a tour of our school. Please come and visit us!

Britannia School’s Mission

We follow the British Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS) for children who are aged 2-5 years old. The EYFS curriculum is broken down into 3 primary and 4 secondary areas of learning
For students aged 5-7 years old we take the Early Years Pedagogy into Key stage 1 (KS1), which is the primary curriculum in the United Kingdom. Our students still have opportunities to learn and explore the areas of the classroom such as the sand tray, role-play area etc. just like in the Early Years program. In addition to this they will be introduced to additional KS1 subjects such as history, geography, science and information and computer technologies (ICT).

Every summer Britannia School offers a British summer camp for children aged 2-7 years old.
The summer camp program is based on our core British EYFS curriculum and lasts for four
weeks. The summer camp activities are run by our British teachers. Each week the students are
introduced to a new topic based on a popular British children’s book. Britannia School camp is
very popular and is an excellent opportunity for children to learn and practice their English
over the summer holidays.
