Whilst researching into my target audience, I looked into what nightclubs they may go out too and what type of

music venues play a similar genre to our artist. This means I can also get an idea of what the target audience wears.

Along with this research I’m going to get feedback from my questionnaire.

Bristol Venues.

The croft is an independent venue and only based in Bristol. It is known for playing small bands and having gigs for up becoming artists. A lot of the artists are from the indie/soul genre, I know this from the “What's on” page on the website, and as pictured is a guitar/amp.

From the prices above, it shows that the bands performing aren’t well known and often more than one have to play on a night in order for the place to make a profit.

This venue is known in Bristol and Exeter. It has performing artists, mostly from bands. The music is normally Rock, Indie or music from the 80s. Not many places in Bristol have a similar vibe. Prices vary from £10-£20 which means that the artists are fairly known.

This band has guitars, drums and a main singer. We are considering having some shots in a studio, many artists use this in their videos therefore it will look professional. The clothing they are wearing is tight jeans along with long sleeve tops/shirts . They have put the spot-light to focus on the main singer.

The O2 academy is more well known and has various location over the UK. Our artists Maverick Sabre has actually played here before therefore we know that people who go to this venue have similar music taste to our target audience. As the artists who perform hear are more known the venue can change a little more. The more a venue charges the more

Ms Dynamite has made various tracks throughout her music career. Many have been describe as ‘soulful’. It’s debated that Maverick Sabre is categorized into the Soul and Indie genre.
