Mentoring and validating settings on their Bristol Standard journey is very rewarding and we are currently looking for more people to join us.

On the training day we will take you through the Bristol Standard mentoring process and prepare you to support settings. We will also show you how submissions are validated. The second part of the training will be to attend a joint-LA validation day where you will be alongside a tutor who will explain the validation process in action as you look at real submissions. Dates for the validation days will be provided when you book on.

Who the course is for: We are looking for managers or practitioners from PVI settings and teachers from schools who have completed the Bristol Standard themselves. Supply cover will be paid for attendance on these days and for subsequent mentoring and validation duties.

There will be refreshments during the day, Lunch is not provided but you can pre-order from Daisy’s Café, Upper Horfield Community Trust, Eden Grove, Bristol which is just over the road from the Education Centre.
