DEGREE PATHWAYSSTART UNIVERSITY HEREDid you know you can start your bachelor’s degree at NBCC and then transfer your credits to another school to complete it? That’s a university transfer.

NBCC has multiple pathway agreements with uni-versities across New Brunswick, Canada and all around the world that allow your NBCC diploma or certificate to be credited for up to two years of a four-year university degree.

ADULT LEARNERS NBCC is a great choice for going back to school as an adult learner. In 2020/2021, 22% of NBCC students were between the ages of 21-24, and 37% were 25 years of age and older.1 Many of our programs are either one or two years in length with some of our specialty programs being even shorter. A change in career or adding to your existing skillset to open new doors may be closer than you think.

ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONAL Our one- to two-year Administrative Professional programs will provide the skills you need to operate in an office environment as a capable, motivated, business savvy individual who has a proficiency in a range of areas. Our most recent graduate follow-up survey showed a 93% employment rate within one year of graduation*, launch your career path today!

OUR AREAS OF STUDYNBCC offers multiple programs within each area of study (see the foldout for all the program options).

Many of the programs have a practicum or co-op component so you can gain the on-the-job exposure you need to tackle exciting projects. Many programs within the trades lead to apprenticeship and Red Seal certification. And, with our agreements with several universities, almost all of our diploma programs count as two years toward a four-year university degree if you wish to further your education.

It is important to check all the details/requirements of the specific program you are interested in.

APPLIED AND MEDIA ARTS Tap into your creativity and turn it into a career, where you could earn an average annual salary of almost $50,000 within one year of graduation.* Whether you enjoy putting pen to paper or love using the latest technology, our one- to two-year Applied and Media Arts programs will prepare you for a future in animation, photography, or graphic design.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION Make career success your bottom line. Learn the basics of business or sharpen your skills in a particular area such as insurance, marketing, HR or finance. Our one-to two-year Business Adminis-tration programs will open the door to careers with high employment rates in sales, banking, private industries, or the public sector.

CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY Our two-year Building and Civil Engineering Tech-nology programs and one-year Civil Technician pro-gram offer a blueprint for a successful high paying career working on major engineering projects like roads, structures, surveying, architecture, building systems and construction management. HEALTH Looking to make a meaningful difference in peo ple's lives? Pursue a career in healthcare. ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGYPower up your career with our two-year Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technology programs. ENVIRONMENT AND MARINE SYSTEMS Prepare for a career that's as big as the great out doors! WOOHOO! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ACCEPTANCE. HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NEXTFirst things first. Activate your Student Self-Service Account and confirm your seat by paying the con-firmation fee. This will secure your seat.

If you are not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada, you will need a valid post-secondary study permit to attend NBCC for longer than six months. Apply as soon as you receive your letter of acceptance. The times needed to process your application may vary among visa offices.
