“BACK TO THE BARS” was formed of 4 members of the Buffalo 20 year old Classic/Prog rock group wünderland:

Mark Partyka – Electric, Acoustic & Synth Guitars / Lead Vocals Dave Mendola – Bass / Vocals Jeff Cooke – Acoustic & Electronic Drums & Percussion / Vocals Mike McGuire- Vocals / keyboards

Not your ‘run-of-the-mill’ Rock band, BACK TO THE BARS has a songlist including many ‘one hit wonders’, ‘timeless classics’, and songs you forgot you remember… or remember you forgot. Many songs are originally from bands with larger instrumentation, but put into ‘trio’ format with attention to vocal harmonies and instrument switches within a tune to cover multiple parts and give a fuller sound than you’d expect from 3 guys.

The BTTB members have worked together in numerous bands and projects such as wünderland, local theatre musical productions, backing other performers, and other bands (Initiation, Disco Duck, Coda, Blackest Red, Hit ‘N Run, Tidal Wave, Black Widow, Blackout, Back Stabbath) separately.
