BrilliantWondersLEDBubblersarea12VACsystem.OnlyuseandapprovedACtransformer(soldseparately).Whenusingajunctionbox,connect12VACconnectionstothejunctionboxterminals.NEVERconnectthelightdirectlytohighvoltagelines.
C.1MECHANICALINSTALLATIONThisBrilliantWondersLightedBubblerUnitmustbeinstalledasspecifiedbytheseinstructions.PleasefollowALLoftheinstructionsenclosedwiththisunit.Itisrecommendedtokeeptheunitinitsoriginalpackaginguntilthesiteispreparedforinstallation.RefertoFigure1BlockDiagramaboveforreference.
USE ONLY WATER THAT HAS BEEN PROPERLY FILTERED.
Eachunitiscarefullypackedatthefactoryandcomeswithaconstructiondebriscoverthatpreventsmostconstructioncontaminationpriortooperation.RemovethelightmodulefromthebodybyfirstremovingtheLEDModuleRestrainingScrew,andthenturnthelightmoduleCLOCKWISEtoremove(Figure2).Installthedebriscover.Putthelightmoduleinasafeplaceuntilreadyforfinalinstallation.
FLUSH THE PIPE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
C.1.1Determinethelocation(s)fortheBrilliantWondersLightedBubbler(s).Theunitcanbeinstalledinvariouspositionsfromthetypicalhorizontalmountorusedasinaverticalwallmount.Beginbypreppingtheareaforinstallationasyouwouldamaindrainsump.Thereisa1½”–2”PVCcombinationsocketlocatedonthebottomofthebodyofthebubblertorunwaterservice.Thereisalsoa1”PVCslipsocketonthebottomtorunconduitforelectricalconnections.CMPrecommendsmountingthebubblernomorethan14”belowthesurfaceofthewaterhorizontallywheninstalledasabubbler/fountainforthebestcombinationeffectofwaterandlight.
C.1.2Whenusingtheunitasalightonly,glueaplugintothewaterportonthebackofthebody,andthreadtheLightUse
OnlyCapontothefront.(P/N25552-309-300)Ifthebubblerismountedonaverticalwall,theunitwillactmorelikealightedjetandwillnotgivethesameeffectasahorizontalapplication.
C.1.3Installthelightmoduleandruncordthroughtheconduittothejunctionbox.Installthe“holddown”screw. C.1.4Completetherough-inbyplumbingthewaterlinetothedesiredpumpingsystem.Flushthewaterlinepriortoany
startuptoremoveanyforeignmaterialfromconstructionthatmaybeinsidethesystem.Besuretoinstallanin-lineflowcontrolvalvetoadjusttheheightandflowofthewater.
C.1.5Afterthesystemhasbeenstarted,adjusttheheightofthewaterusingthisvalvetogetthedesiredeffect.Thefollowingtables(FIGURE2)providesapproximatevaluesforwatercolumnheightwithcombinationsofGPManddepthoftheBrilliantWondersLightedBubblermountedinthehorizontalposition.

C.2.3Connectthe120VACswitchedinputtotheinputsideofthetransformerasshowninthesamplebelow.Locatethepowertransformeroutputterminalsandattachthetwofeedwires(oneBlackandoneWhite)fromthebubbler.Theseblackandwhitewiresmaybeconnectedinanyordertotheoutputterminalsonthetransformerastheyarenotpolaritydependent.Attachanygroundedwiretotheappropriateterminalsandensureallconnectionshavebeeninstalledproperly.EnsuretheswitchisintheOFFpositionpriortostartup.YourLEDUnitisnowreadyforoperation.

C.2 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
C.2.1Withallofthedifferentcomponentsandapplicationsinthepoolandspaindustry,properinstallationrecommendationscannotbetakenforgranted.ThisproceduregivesspecificrecommendationstoensurethatelectricalwiringofyourBrilliantWondersLightedBubblerUnitisproperlyinstalled.Theinstallershouldalsoconsultlocalinspectorstoinsurethattheunitisinstalledaccordingtoalllocalbuildingcodesandregulations.Refertotheschematicbelowforinstallationoftheelectricalsystem(Figure7).
C.2.2The12VACtransformer(notincluded)istobelocatedinawaterproofenclosure.TheconduitfromtheBrilliantWondersBubblershouldbeconnectedtothetransformerenclosure.PullthecablefromtheBrilliantWondersBubblerthroughtheconduittothetransformerenclosure(notincluded).Leaveabout12-24”ofwireintheBrilliantWondersLightedBubbler’sinnerhousing(thisistoallowforservicingoftheLEDmodule-Figure6).Pulltherestofthecablethroughtothetransformerbox.ThebubblerunitcanbemountedontothehubbywindingtheexcesscablearoundtheinnerhubinsidethehousingandlininguptheLEDmodulewiththeguidepinsonthehub.SecurethelightbypushingthelightdownwardontothehubandtwistingthelightunitCOUNTER-CLOCKWISE(Figure5).SecuretheunitbyreplacingtheLEDModuleRetainingScrew.

D.1 INITIAL STARTUP USE ONLY WATER THAT HAS BEEN PROPERLY FILTERED.
D.1.1Thefollowingchecklistshouldbemadepriortostartup.Thisincludesinitialconstructionstartupandseasonalstartup.1. Removetheconstruction/debriscoverfromtheBubbler.2. Visuallyinspecttheunittoensurethatthereisnodebrisinthenozzle.3. InspectthehousingandLEDmoduleforanysignsofdamagesuchascracks,holes,etc.4. ChecktoensurethattheLEDmodulehasbeenlockedintoplace.Ifnot,refertosection4.2.2forinstallation.5. Ensureallelectricalconnectionshavebeenverifiedandinspected.6. Donotturnontheunituntilthepoolhasbeenfilledtothefullwatermark.
D.1.2Afterperformingthestartupchecklist,turnonthepumpingsystemandallowtheairtopurgefromthelines.Usingtheinlineflowcontrolvalve,adjusttheflowtotheBrilliantWondersLightedBubblertoobtainthedesiredheightofthewaterflume.Refertothedatainsection4.1.2forgeneralperformancedata.
D.1.3Visuallychecktheunittoensurethattherearenoleaksinthehousingorthelightingunit.Ifanyleaksarefound,turnoffwaterandaddresstheleakage.Ifleakageisinternaltotheunit,pleasecallcustomerserviceforfurthersupport.Repeatstart-upsequenceandrecheckunit.
D.1.4Aftertheunitisrunningproperly,energizethepowertothetransformeratthecontrolbox.Usingthewallswitch,nowturnontheBrilliantWondersLightedBubbler.AllNine(9)Lightsshouldbefunctional.
DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THE LED LIGHT SOURCE AS PERMANENT EYE DAMAGE MAY OCCUR.
DO NOT OPERATE THE LED LIGHTS FOR MORE THAN 20 SECONDS IF UNIT IS NOT SUBMERGED IN WATER. THIS PRODUCT IS EQUIPPED WITH A THERMAL OVERLOAD PROTECTOR. HOWEVER, FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE OVERHEATING WHICH MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRONICS.
D.2LIGHTSEQUENCEOPERATION
D.2.1TheBrilliantWondersLightedBubblercanbecontrolledusingastandardwall-mountlightswitch.MultipleBrilliantWondersLightedBubblerlightscanbeconnectedviaajunctionboxtoasingleswitchsothatalllightscanbeswitchedonandofftogether.Thiswillensurethattheywillbehavewiththesamelightingsequences.Byturningtheswitchonandoffaspecificnumberoftimes,thelightwillactivateoneofthelightshowmodesorwilllockinachosencolor.
D.2.2ThefirsttimetheswitchispoweredontotheBrilliantWondersLightedBubbler,awhitelightwillappear.Thisisthefirstcolorofthesequenceintheselectedprograms(Figure8).Toselectanotherfixedcolororcolorshowmode(1-14),turnthewallswitchoffandthenbackonaspecificnumberoftimestogofromacurrentprogramtothenextprogram.Thesequencewillrotatefromprogramtoprogram.Pleasereviewthechartbelowandfollowthesequencetoactivatethevariousshowfeatureeffectswhilein“show”modes.Iftheunitisturnedoffformorethan11seconds,theunitwillmemorizethelastprogramsetting.
D.3COLORSEQUENCEOPERATION
D.3.1 Resetting Color Sequence: Toresetthesequenceorientation,turnthepowerofffor5-10secondsandthenbackontorestartthelightsequence(SequenceNumber1)atwhite.
D.3.2 Color Show Mode:Thereare9colormodesand5showprograms.
Synchronized Color Show Mode: The9colorsthatareavailablearebrilliantwhite,amazingaqua,oceanblue,electricblue,lightgreen,primarygreen,sunsetyellow,prettyinpinkandpurplepassion.Changetothenextcolorbyturningthelightswitchtotheoffpositionandthenbackon.
Show Program Mode:TogettotheProgramModes,turntheunitoffandthenbackontoadvancethesequencetothedesiredshow.Therearefiveshowprogrammodes:Slowandmediumcyclethroughthelights;mediumfadethroughred,white,andblue;mediumfadethroughblue,white,andpink;andafastpartymodewhereallofthecolorsarecycledthroughwithvaryingspeedandholddelays.
System Reset:Intheeventofapowerinterruptionorpowerlossandtheunitsbecomeoutofsequence,turnthelightswitchtotheoffpositionfor5-10seconds.Theinternalcontrollerswillresetallofthelightsandstartthemtogetheratthefirstsequence.

E. WINTERIZATION
E.1 WINTERIZATION STEPS
Whenthepoolistobepreparedforwinterorwillbeoutofserviceforalongperiodoftime,theownermaydecidetowinterizethepool.Thefollowingstepsshouldbefollowedtoensurethatthebubblerunitwillnotbedamaged:
1. TurnoffpowertotheBrilliantWondersLightedBubblertransformeranddisconnectpoweratthebreakerbox.2. Turnoffpowertotherecirculatingpump.3. Markbothbreakersasbeing“outofservice”.4. Iftheunitwillremainunderthewaterlevel,nootheractionisrequired.

InthecaseofpoolsthathavethewaterdrainedbelowtheBubblerhousing,itisrecommendedtoflushthewateroutofthesystem.
1. RemovetheLEDModuleRetainingScrewandtwisttheLEDmoduleCLOCKWISE andremovetheLedmodulefromthehousing.
2. Disconnecttheoperatingpumpandusecompressedairorsomeothersourcetoremoveallthewaterfromthelines.3. ReconnectwhenthewaterhasbeenremovedfromtheLEDModulehousing,supply,andreturnlines.ReinstalltheLED
modulebyturningCOUNTER-CLOCKWISE(Figure9).
