Special Events

Friday FrolicsEveryone gathers each Friday at the end of the camp day for Friday Frolics, a time for special events, performances or concerts. The carnival-like atmosphere is not only a great way to end the week but gives campers and staff a chance to get together and engage in competitive and artistic activities with an outdoor theme.

Family FestivalSt. Catherine’s Brilliant Summer Program holds an evening Family Festival for parents and visitors on July 1 for Session One participants and July 23 for Session Two participants. The festivals are a culmination of the campers’ efforts and provide an opportunity for children to display their artwork and perform music, dance and theatre productions.

Important Information

A Note about ClassesA final schedule confirming your camper’s classes will be sent to you in the spring along with an orientation letter and carpool assignments. On the first day of each session, campers receive a laminated copy of their schedule on the back of their nametag to wear each day of camp. All classes offered are subject to cancellation.

Due to the creative nature of our program class activities may be subject to change. Students may occasionally attend special performances, participate in games or engage in activities not listed in the class descriptions.

All Brilliant Summer programs coordinate to provide a full day of care filled with fun and enriching opportunities. If you are interested in combining classes from different programs, music lessons or tutoring sessions to fill the day, just let us know. Counselors will safely escort your child to and from each activity.
