• Parents/Legal Guardians are allowed to observe your child
during recess for one day only (Friday, 3 January 2020).
Parents/Legal Guardians are to wait at the area outside the
canteen as indicated by the school.
Parents/Legal Guardians are not allowed to purchase food
or sit with your child/ward during recess.
• P4 Huaminites will buddy P1 students for 2 weeks
(3 January - 17 January 2020) to help them in the canteen
during recess.

• The school bell will ring at 7.25 a.m. daily for students to
report to the hall.
• During dismissal time, parents/legal guardians are not
allowed to enter the school to fetch your child/ward.
• Please wait at the preferred fetching points, either at the
main gate or side gate. If you make a change to the fetching
point, please call and inform the Admin Centre.
• Aims to help parents/legal guardians:
– Understand school key programmes to realise the school
vision
– Understand school policy on communication and
assessment
– Address issues or feedback, if any

Safety and Security
• If you drive your child/ward to school:
– Follow the instructions given by the security guards and
traffic wardens on duty
– Get your child/ward to be ready to alight when approaching
the drop-off point on your left side of the car
– Don’t alight to open your vehicle door for your child/ward
– Avoid saying long goodbyes
– Be Patient and Considerate

visitor’s pass at the Security Post
– Check-in at the Admin Centre
– Going to the class directly is strictly not allowed
– Loitering within the school premises especially during

• MOE has developed an activity book for all
parents/guardians of students entering Primary One in
January 2020.
• It consists of tips and suggested activities to support you
with:
– The transition of your child/ward from pre-school to
Primary One
– Familiarise your child/ward with some common routines
in primary schools
