Learning Outcomes:
BRIEF TITLE: Jacked Lincoln part 2
Brief: To design promotional material for a house and bass night in Lincoln. Background: Jacked is a house music events company that organise nights in popular venues around Lincoln. Considerations: -Layout -format -colour scheme -Create an identity for the brand
Mandatory Requirements: -brand logo and headliner logo must be displayed
Target Audience: The target audience is mainly young adults and students in Lincoln.
Tone of Voice: The tone of voice needs to be down to earth to reflect the nature of the brand and music.
Deliverables: -A3 poster -A5 flyer -Social media / Facebook
Evaluation: Positives/ This time round I wanted to create more of an identity for the brand so the design could work as a template opposed to creating a different design each time they have an event. I created a geometric pattern that can have the colours adjusted for each event. Negatives/ There arent really any negatives to report. The brief was a quick turnaround and the client was specific with what they wanted so it made it simple for me to design. What I would do differently next time? I think I would of chosen one more font to work with Futura. It would of helped to create contrast and make the headliners stand out better. Apart from that I am pleased with the design and think it has created a strong identity for the brand.
