BRIDGING MOTHER TONGUE TO FILIPINO ROLL-OUT TRAINING

TO: ALL SCHOOLS DIVISION SUPERINTENDENTS

Attention: MTB-MLE Coordinators

1. During the conduct of Regional Teachers’ Training for Bridging Mother Tongue to Filipino (L2) on March 11-14, 2015 at East Asia Royale Hotel – Gen. Santos City, the MTBMLE Coordinators agreed to roll-out the training by division.

2. In keeping with the cascade approach of the department and in order for this training to reach all Grade 2 teachers in the region who are serving students whose mother tongue is T’boli, Magindanawn or Hiligaynon, the regional trainers are requested to roll-out said training at their respective divisions anytime before school year 2015-2016 starts. 3. Save the Children through IKEA Project will distribute printed copies of primers to support the roll-out activities. While training expenses (i.e. transportation, food & accommodation, incidental) shall be borne from local funds or MOOE subject to usual accounting and auditing procedures. 4.
