Why Family and Community Involvement is Important

Parents, here at BridgePrep, we value you! We cherish

all the hard work you put in making sure the community of

BridgePrep continues to promote school-wide values and

responsibilities expected of every student, teacher, and

staff member. This is why we would like to talk about

community partnerships.

“Family-school-community partnerships are a shared responsibility and reciprocal process whereby schools

and other community agencies and organizations engage families in meaningful and culturally appropriate ways, and families take initiative to actively supporting their children’s

development and learning. ”

By working together, we are helping to improve our

student’s academic future. We are a growing rich-and-

diverse population full of eager-to-learn children. When we

work with our teachers, we are helping them help your

children grow beyond expectations.

When the community comes together, our children

attend school more regularly and are more motivated to

succeed. When your child sees you or a community partner

willingly helping out, they will see positive role-models who

exhibit all the character traits we want in our future leaders!
