BRIDGE PRESERVATION PRACTICES WE CAN’T AFFORD NOT TO DO

PARTNERSHIPSThe Bridge Preservation Partnerships are

regional forums of bridge professionals—

from state agencies, contractors, suppliers,

consultants, academia, plus local and federal

government agencies—all working together

to take advantage of the synergy to be gained

from sharing information and identifying

common issues for further investigation.

The Partnerships—Midwest, Northeast,

Southeast, and Western—each share

and publicize information describing

improvements in research, materials, design,

specifications, construction and inspection

for preservation, and promote the benefits of

bridge preservation through education and

outreach.

THINGS TO DOThe Renaissance Orlando at Seaworld Hotel

is perfectly positioned near International Drive

and is a short walk or trolley ride away from

presentations by bridge preservation experts from DOTS, academia, and industry.

More than 60 presentations will be given on topics related to preservation of decks,
