OPTIONAL BAND PROGRAMS IMPORTANCE OF BAND CAMP IN AUGUST Mandatory Parent Meeting August 1 Learning Music Setting Student Placements In Show Learning Drill Band Photos Taken Marching Uniforms Fitted Concert Attire Fitted 4 IMPORTANCE OF BAND CAMP IN AUGUST For Freshman Absolute time needed to learn the music for the school songs and the marching band show. Meet and work with 180+ other BWHS students in all grades (9-12). Opportunity to become familiar with the school layout. Elminates the first day jitters. 5 BAND FACTS Marching band practices all of August and before and after school during the first quarter. Most all weekends from Setpember through mid November have a day taken up by marching band. There are band fees for participating in all band groups.
