For the previous ten years she has worked at the University Hospital Frankfurt, as a senior maternal fetal medicine consultant, and part of the team conducting research about the modern management of breech birth. Her special interests lie in breech, multiple pregnancies, high risk pregnancies and prenatal ultrasound. She will also be presenting at the upcoming RCOG conference in October. Dr Gerhard Bogner MD, MSc, is a Senior Consultant and Acting Manager of the Department of Obstetric and Gynecology, Paracelsus Medical University, Salzburg. He is a trainer for courses in Doppler-Ultrasound in pregnancy and gynecology and obstetric education for trainees, and he has undertaken research in the management of breech presentation (external cephalic version, delivery of breech and second twin in all fours position), and is a principal investigator in multicentre gynecologic oncology studies. His motto is: “Vaginal delivery of breech may not disappear in our delivery rooms!” Shawn Walker is a Consultant Breech Specialist Midwife. She developed this role and the Heads Up Clinic model at the James Paget University Hospital in Great Yarmouth, including midwife presentation scans, counselling, external cephalic version (ECV) and experienced on-call support for planned vaginal breech births. She is currently supporting the Supervisors of Midwives at Imperial College London to develop a breech care pathway and researching for her PhD, and provides clinical support at other NHS planned breech births. Her research activities include core competencies for midwife practitioners of ECV and the development of competence and expertise for upright breech birth. Dr Natasha Singh and Midwife Louise Kidd run the Breech Clinic at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. breechbirth.org.uk
