Matching Grant Projects 2012-13
• With the support of matching grants, two or more countries can implement humanitarian projects to do good to the community.
• A brief account of these humanitarian projects for 2012-2013 is given below.

Funding
•As at 31st March 2013, 33 applications have been submitted to our District, involving:
– an aggregate project sum of US991,772
– TRF Funding of app. US399,599
– D3450 DDF funding of US82,000

•More than 100 clubs from different countries have contributed towards these projects
•Support from 26 different Rotary Districts
•Projects sites in 8 different countries

Make A Difference
•With the support of the Water Project Committee, RC of Kowloon East, and all supporting clubs in our District, we do make a difference in 2012-2013 Rotary Year on MG projects
Matching Grant Projects 2012-13Water Projects•53 clubs in our District have participated in Water Purification System projects in Xian PRC, making a record break of 88% overall participation rate in MG Projects
•Area 1 to 8 have participated
•All applications are joint projects, representing the joint cooperation and effort of different clubs

Water Projects•Support from 13 overseas Districts
•Beneficiaries : around 50,700 individuals
•Additional direct donations by individual clubs in WPS: Tsuen Wan, Kowloon East, Soho and Area 6
•Host Clubs: Macao, Metropolitan, Island East, HKN, Peak, Tsuen Wan, KGM, Kowloon Tong
