Samba

Samba is one of the most popular music in Brazil. The music is loud and energetic; the dance is passionate and powerful.

It came from Africa in early 20th century. People sway their shoulders, twitch their toes and smile happily when performing.

Samba Samba dancing is fun and easy to learn. The

musicians play drums. The performers dance in rhythms. They wear colourful costumes in the carnivals.

Football Football is the most popular sport in Brazil. The Brazilian

national football team has been victorious in the World Cup tournament a record five times, in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002. Brazil is the only team to have played in every World Cup.

Pelé is the greatest footballers in the world. He became known as "The King of Football". He won his first World Cup at 17. He was also generous to help the poor people. He donated the money to the poor children.
