The company has already manufactured 20 million tons of products in 41 industrial units installed in Brazil, the United States, Mexico and Germany.

The industrial maintenance area has a natural complexity that interferes in the process of measuring the payment service and consequently, in the operational efficiency of the company. Among many challenges, technological support stands out as a determining factor in investments aimed at achieving more competitiveness, since the sector demands processes and sub processes of inclusion of services (measuring bulletin) which hitherto were carried out through manual procedures.

Aligned with Braskem's strategic pillars, regarding the vectors of operational excellence, productivity and compliance, it was necessary to automate the process.

The solution came through SAP Fiori, which uses state-of-the-art simplified interface and design elements for a better user experience (UX), and takes the company's SAP software experience to any device. Based on business lines, it also promotes increased

Success Case1st place at ASUG Impact Awards 2017 Electronic BM Project: For knowing all the challenges of manufacturing, FH was chosen as the technological partner, since it has developed a unique systemic solution that covers from the electronic inspection of the measurements of services executed via contract, to the issuance of payment documents. The solution is used through a web application developed in SAP Fiori, which features responsive UX technology and promotes compliance focused on results.

FH implemented SAP Fiori at Braskem, recreated the company's way to optimize its measuring and services payment processes with integrated solutions, and the project conquered the first place at the ASUG Impact Awards 2017.

Challenges The challenges started with the suppliers because they needed to add people to carry out manual spreadsheets that would potentially increase the indirect cost. Since the information was prone to inconsistency, this manual process had impact in Braskem's productivity, because the documents created and conferred for payments presented redundancies. Due to the lack of standardization and visibility of the process stages, the information was vulnerable and demanded analyses that impacted delaying other activities. Braskem needed a partnership up to the challenge to eliminate these costs and optimize their processes.
