On the 24th of January our class went to Bramall hallbecause we were learning about the Tudors. First wemet Meg, a servant,who talked us through what wewere going to do. Also master Geoffrey camedownstairs to talk to us.
Next we got our authentic Tudor clothes on so wecould be real Tudors whilst the girls got theirkurtles,ruffs and bonnets on master Geoffrey led theboys away to get into their ruffs,hoses and caps on sowe could greet each other witch was great!

Then we went to the scribe room to learn how to write like Tudors. We had to get a scribe feather witch was a goose feather with a slit on the end to put ink inside. We wrote our names and the date witch was 1599.
Later we were led to the still room to see Meg. In the still room we made nosegays they kept away the plague .Meg told us that if you had toothache you had to heat up a nail and then fill it with goose fat paste. Did you know that you had to make a lavender press to ease an ache and how you need to make a hot water bottle!

Then we started to make our nosegays a lot of lavender and rose petals mixed up in some muslin cloth with wood worm.
After that...LUNCH!!!!! the moment we had all been waiting for first we sat down whilst master Geoffrey chose 2 mistress's and 2 masters to sit at the high table. we had our lunch it was great!!
Almost last we had a look around and in the music room Aneya played the crum horn really loud and all you could hear was BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then we did ball room dancing and we saw mistress’s Dorothy's room her bed was tiny because she thought that the angel of death would come and take her sole because she would appear dead when she was lying down. We saw a grand beautiful cloth that you would put over a table.

Consequently I loved that day because the dancing was specular and magnificent. The large dining cloth was very grand.
