Graduation RequirementsClass of 2022
Students entering 9th grade in 2018 will receive specific graduation requirements from their Advisory teachers during the regular school year.
Please pay close attention to the testing requirements needed for graduation.
Graduation requirements may be different for each grade level.
Standard Diploma may include 24 or 18 credit option with Scholar or Merit designation

Students will receive the Academic Integrity Agreement during the first week of school.
You are allowed to have 9 excused absences a year.
Excused absences include: Religious Holiday Subpoena or forced absence by law enforcement An appointment with doctor or dentist School Board approved activity Participation in an academic class or program

ZERO Tolerance
Student IDs Students must wear a BRHS ID at all Times.
9th Grade students will get ID’s made during the 1st week of school or before/after this presentation in the media center.
IDs are used in the cafeteria for buying lunch, for the computers in the media center, and for signing in and out of school.
Students will be charged for a lost ID.

IMPORTANT DRESS CODE POINTS All students will be required to wear their student ID at all times .
SHIRT tail length can NOT be longer than the tip of your fingertips as hands are extended at your side.
You many not have ANY Pants/Skirts/Shorts with FRAYS, HOLES, CUTS OR SLITS above the knee.
Skirts/Shorts must be as long as your fingertips with your hands extended at your side – 360 Degrees around, even when seated.
ALL shirts must have sleeves.
No facial piercings are allowed including lip rings, nose rings, eyebrow rings.
Tardy PolicyStart of School Day
If you arrive after 7:30 am, report to Student Services.
Students are allowed only 2 parent excuses per quarter.
After you have used your two tardies, appropriate
documentation is required.
Doctor’s Note / Proper Documentation Required
If you do not have documentation, you will receive a detention.
Tardy Policy School Day
You have FIVE minutes to move from class to class.
If you are late to class, you MUST present your Student ID
in Student Services for a pass to class.
You will receive 1 emergency pass per class per quarter – this is only good
within the 1st FIVE minute of class.
Tardy Discipline / Detentions
You will be assigned a detention. Detentions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You may reschedule one detention per quarter & MUST be rescheduled by
12:00 on the day of the detention.
LEAVING CAMPUS
Students needing to leave campus for appointments during the day, must bring a note to student services prior to 7:30 that morning to receive a release pass.
***Leaving Campus without Permission is a safety concern***

Requests for schedule changes will be considered only for the following reasons:
If a student has already earned credit in the course.
If a student has failed the prerequisite for the course.
If a student is scheduled for too many or not enough classes.
If there was a clerical error.

There are 5 different forms of athletic paperwork in a Packet-10 total pages:•*Physical-EL2•*EL3-Consent Forms-(Liability, Concussion, Cardiac Arrest-Heat related Illness)•*Resident Affidavit-(SBMC)•*Impact Testing-Concussion•*Supplemental Insurance- Mandatory**All forms need to be completely filled out, signed, dated and handed into Coaches before working out**
Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 to participate.
Participating in athletics and activities is a privilege. In order to represent BRHS, student conduct must be outstanding.
Any student that owes money, textbooks, or school property may NOT participate in extracurricular activities until the debt is paid or the property is returned to the school. This includes clubs, sports, graduation, etc.
