GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTSSGB Elections
Parents: We need YOU!BPS SGB Elections for two new parent members will take place on Wednesday February 19th, at 6:00pm in the school hall.
Letters have gone home with a nomination form and a proxy form. A proxy form is only to be completed if you are unable to attend and want to nominate another registered parent to vote on your behalf.
A copy of your ID (the parent who is unable to attend) must accompany the proxy form. Proxy forms do not contribute to the quorum. Nomination forms must please be placed in the box at Reception from the 12th February.
All parents that attend must bring some form of identification - SA ID; drivers license or a passport for foreign nationals
We require 187 parents to attend. A baby-sitting service will be available in the AV room. It is imperative that we get our quorum as the short-listing and interview process for the new principal requires a full parent body. This process begins on 24 February.
SGB Elections - Incentives to attendThese are the prizes up for grabs should we reach our quorum of 187 parents. (Please note we can only offer these prizes if the quorum is met)
First prize: 1 month discount on school fees Second prize: R500 school shop voucher
Third Prize: R150 tuck-shop voucherClass prizes: The class in the FP (Grades 1 - 3) and InterSen phase (Grades 4 - 7) with the highest number of parents attending, will be given a free civvies day.
Come on parents! Have your voice heard!
School FeesA reminder that all school fees for February are now due. Please remember that fees are payable by the 7th of each month.
Please note: When making a payment into the schools bank account it is VERY important to use your account reference.
The account reference can be found in the top right hand section of the school fee statement and is made up of 3 letters and 3 numbers i.e. NEL001.
If you do not know the code, please use your childs surname and then first name i.e. Nel, John.
If you do not reference payments correctly the money will go into a suspense ac-count and we are not able to release this to your school fee account until such time as a proof of payment has been received. Please check next time you pay the school that the reference you are using is correct.
Bryanston Primary school fee statements are sent monthly via email. Please email [email protected] should you not be receiving the electronic copy monthly or you have recently changed your email account.

Do you need Prayer?Join BPS Parents in Prayer
Parents in Prayer are parents at Bryanston Primary who love Jesus Christ and wish to make him Lord of our lives.
Our purpose is to PRAY for the children, the parents, the staff. Where possible, we try to give practical help to needy families in the school. We rely on concerned parents and staff to tell us their needs. All information is strictly confidential.
A confidential prayer newsletter is sent out at least once a month, to
parents on the prayer list. If possible small groups of parents can get together and pray during the week.
Join us as we seek to find His Will.
Please contact Nicole Dowsley ([email protected]) to find out more information about Parents in Prayer.
