Covid 19 information It has been a long journey as we move through the Covid-19 pandemic. Although many of us may not have been directly or indirectly affected, we continue to urge all members and their guests to continue to be vigilant.
Should you and or your guests have any of the following symp-toms, please remain home and DO NOT COME TO THE LODGE OR ATTEND ANY LODGE FUNCTION until symptom free. Our goal is to keep us all safe. All Slip Holder Contracts have been mailed out for the 2021 season. If your contract has not been returned with your information & payments that slip will be as-signed to a member on our waiting list.
January 1st. Your 2nd Marina Slip Payment WAS due. All slip holders were required to have their second payment in at this time as well as all of your boats informa-tion. Your Current Registration, Elks Card and Insurance Declaration Page must accompany your payment if not presently turned in for the 2021 season to date.
Construction Has Been On Going In Our Marina and again we thank everyone that has cooperated in the emptying of their dock boxes.
Another Section Of our Bulkhead is Being Replaced, lo-cated from our boat ramp south to slip # 1. New Water/Air lines are also being installed there.

Antlers help out.The Antlers Giving Tree was very successful. The Antlers were able to provide 28 children with Christmas presents . A huge Thank you to the MC for adopting a family of 5 and providing gift cards for them . Thank you to the charitable committee for providing Shop Rite gift cards so the families were able to have Christmas dinner. Thank you to many members for donations and for pitching in with wrapping gifts . A huge thank you goes out to Dan Troise and Samantha Swain, Lana Ostrowski for helping to Organize and deliver gifts. - Shawn Judson

Marina News...
I have ordered 26 items for each kit, including kitchen set, bathroom accessories, silverware, clocks, pil-lows, towels, vacuum cleaner, microwave, toaster, lamps, etc. These pieces will be transferred from my house to Lodge to be ready for State Vet Committee call for a homeless Veteran entering new housing.
So far the Veteran Blue Claw game to take Vets to a ball game is still in the works for this summer. Waiting for call from Lakewood Blue Claws for possible day game.
We are still not having monthly meetings for
Vet committee so please stay tuned for further info.

OUR DOCK COMMITTEE Has been working weekly in this cold weather to maintain our marina to stay as one of the best in our area. If you’re interested in joining this fine group, contact the marina office or see any of our dock crew members working on Tuesdays.

ScholarshipsLegacy Scholarships-- Do you have a child (step child) or grandchild (step grandchild)? If so, two legacy scholarships are still available. The first is our Lodge
Legacy Scholarship. This is for high school
seniors. Email me at [email protected] and
I will email you the application. Encourage
you relatives to complete the application and
forward it to me before the deadline, April
30, 2021.
The second legacy scholarship is the NJ State
Family Scholarship. This is for high school
seniors, college freshmen, sophomores or
juniors. Students can receive this scholar-
ship more than once. The application will be
available on line at www.NJelks.org on or
about April 15, 2021. It will be due June 30,
2021. Make sure you submit the completed
application to the Lacey Lodge secretary at
least one week before this deadline. It must
be certified and then mailed to the State.
The final scholarship is the NJ Elks Vocational
Scholarship. This scholarship is for any H.S.
senior (or within one year of graduation) that
is not attending a traditional 2 or 4 year col-
lege but plans to obtain other post secondary
education. This application is also available
on line at www.NJelks.org after March 1, 2021
and is due May 15, 2021.

Committee Report: The Elk Elks National Foundation is selling hearts for a donation of $5.00 each to be hung up in the Lounge. This is the NJ Biggest Heart Contest, and monies raised goes towards out Per Capita. Please support this important fundraiser.
