Amoco Gasoline Amoco Fuels In the United States, BP Connect stores feature the full slate of Amoco fuels - fuels Americans rank highest in quality. This includes Amoco Regular, Amoco Silver Mid-Grade and Amoco Ultimate – BP’s uniquely formulated premium gasoline that has lower sulfur content, which lessens the level of harmful emissions.

Based on a recent joint agreement between Ford Motor Company and BP, 2006 Ford division cars, pickups and SUVs in the U.S. will bear gas caps recommending Amoco gasoline to customers. This is the first time in the United States a major auto manufacturer has recommended an energy company’s fuel.

Training Franchise Management and Employee Training As an industry leader we constantly focus on improving our service and quality. It all begins with training. We offer some of the most comprehensive and thorough training in the franchise industry.

We train new franchisees in all the key business categories necessary to help you become a successful BP Connect franchise operator. Your principle contact will be a team of Training Specialists responsible for facilitating classroom instruction and selecting your on-the-job training site. The Training Specialists will monitor your progress throughout the duration of your training and provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of the business.

New franchisees participate in our comprehensive training program developed to teach you how to operate your business utilizing a combination of classroom instruction and self study training in a BP Connect facility. The BP Connect Initial Franchise Fee includes training for two people at the initial franchisee training program and one

person at the Wild Bean Café training program. The initial franchisee training program is currently 7 weeks and the Wild Bean Café training program is currently 4.2 weeks – but the duration is subject to change. The program includes:

Store Manager Training If you own more than one BP Connect facility, a minimum of one full time employee for each store is required to successfully complete the six week BP Connect Store Manager training program. This program provides the necessary elements a store manager will need to operate a BP Connect facility as the primary manager.

Potential Markets

BP and BP Connect Convenience Store Markets: BP Connect Convenience-Stores are currently located in nine states. We are seeking franchisees in the Mid-Western and Eastern Regions of the US. In the Western states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington and Oregon, BP has a separate ARCO branded gasoline offer combined with the ampm franchise concept. BP Connect Convenience Stores What We Look for in a Franchisee Franchise candidates will be evaluated based on business abilities and experience, personal drive for success and financial strength. General Criteria BP Connect convenience-store franchises are available for ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals willing to assume the risks — and eager to reap the rewards — of owning their own business. You must be ready to make a full commitment to the business. As an owner of the business, you must put forth a full time commitment and attention to the key business drivers. Becoming a BP Connect franchisee requires being prepared to make a significant financial commitment therefore requiring an equal commitment of your time and energy. Here are some, but not all, additional requirements that you must meet:

• U.S. citizenship, or permanent resident alien status with a minimum age of 21 years old • Personal participation in operating a retail facility • Successfully complete all training requirements • English language proficiency • Good credit record / credit history evidenced by prompt payment of all financial obligations • Total estimated investment: $2,269,430 - $6,578,290 (including estimated real estate costs) • Estimated liquid capital required $700,000 - $1,000,000 • Possess an entrepreneurial attitude, creativity and the ability to make sound business decisions • Ability to create and implement a comprehensive business plan • Ability to successfully execute BP Connect franchise operational procedures • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail • Ability to obtain / qualify for a beer and wine sales license for off-site consumption
