Recent innovationsPerformance, performance, performanceWe have gathering data from several partners and customers with live installations and analyzed the major pain points and bottlenecks. Based on that data, many internal optimization were implemented in Produmex WMS. While these changes do not affect how the user works with the product, it allows a considerable increase in performance, especially in environments with many users.

Produmex WMS 19.4 will be released at the beginning of April and will become a mandatory upgrade for installations suffering from performance degradation.

Camera scanning on AndroidScanning of barcodes through the camera on Android-based phones. This is meant for demonstration and trial purposes and not for real-world operations as the phone camera scanning is very limited in nature.

Screen utilization on AndroidWhen there is not enough space on the original form for new fields, or situations when buttons or information are not always used, it is possible to move fields to a secondary form. It is also possible to use smaller or bigger controls to better fit the scanner device screen size.

Fields positioning on AndroidProdumex Scan allows data to be positioned based on the percentage of the screen, indicate how many new lines to add, and absolute values for row. It also allows to indicate if other fields wrap around or if the field uses the full row.

Scan barcodes on input field on AndroidThis will allow to scan names, common data, and accelerate the normal day-to-day operation. At this moment the feature is only available when using a phone and selecting “Use Camera for Barcode”.

Italian versionInitial support for the Italian localization has been added to Produmex Scan.
