Designed for all Zone 1 and Zone 2 applications, SPARTAN changes the way we look at lighting for hazardous area environments, providing the easiest installation and servicing, whilst combining huge energy and maintenance savings with the highest level of performance and reliability. All Raytec products are also supported by an industry leading 5 year warranty.
Regular lighting maintenance checks are mandatory for hazardous area environments, and often costly in such high risk and difficult to access areas, meaning ease of maintenance should be an essential feature of any lighting solution. SPARTAN’s modular design makes servicing much easier, quicker and less costly. Removable and interchangeable PSU and LED modules allow easy access and inspection, and instant onsite replacement if required - perfect for isolated locations.
SPARTAN uses CoolExtrude™ thermal management technology to provide an operational life of 10 years+ and an operating temperature range of -50°C to +55°C, rated up to T6 environments. SPARTAN's Revolutionary VARIO technology also means there is a choice of up to 8 different beam patterns, both circular and elliptical, to ensure light is targeted exactly where it is needed and that lumen output is not wasted.
A lighting solution which guarantees output even when mains power is down is critical to safety, given the often high risk locations in which Ex lighting is required. All products in the SPARTAN family, which includes Flood, Linear, Bulkhead and Transportable ranges, are available as emergency variants. Emergency variants feature an internal backup battery which provides up to 100% of light output when mains power is lost, ensuring light output is maintained at the times when it is needed most.
