The Box Hill Indoor Sports Centre has enhanced its facilities and sporting opportunities with the installation of three full size Taraflex multi use 6.2 mm wood blue Futsal courts at its Clarice Road facility. Two of the courts are dedicated to Futsal whilst the third serves as a multi purpose court with line markings for Futsal, Netball and Volleyball. Director, Denny Fatekas is delighted with his investment and the feedback he has received from the 2500 patrons who use his centre every week. “It’s given us a whole new angle to target those wanting to play the game by now offering Futsal as well as our traditional version of rebound Indoor Soccer. We have had some users who compete at the highest level and they love the look and feel of the surface. There’s less impact and a much faster speed to the game. “As well as already offering Indoor Cricket and Netball at the centre, the new multi purpose court has also enabled us to launch ‘Super 7’ Netball which is a full court/non rebound version of the game,” Denny said.
