The Norfolk Royale Hotel is situated in the centre of Bournemouth. We are a few steps from all the nightlife, entertainment and leisure activities that the town is renowned for. Not to mention shopping! Bournemouth has all the high street favourites and nearby Castlepoint Shopping Park will be full of Christmas sale bargains.

It may be a little chilly during December, but our award winning blue flag beaches are just a half mile walk from the hotel through Bournemouth’s beautiful gardens, perfect for a bracing stroll before lunch or afternoon tea. Water sports fans love Poole Harbour, the conditions are perfect for windsurfing and jet skiing. Just west of Bournemouth is the stunning World Hertitage coastline, with romantic locations such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove attracting admirers from all over Europe and beyond.

Christmas Party

23rd December - Arrive at your leisure and be greeted warmly by our team. A delicious festive tea will be served between 3.00pm and 5.00pm. Pre-dinner drinks will be served in the lounge from 6.00pm where you will have the opportunity to meet your hosts and fellow guests, before enjoying a sumptuous 3 course dinner, followed by the evening’s entertainment.

Christmas Eve - Start your Christmas celebrations with a Full English breakfast, served from 8.00am until 10.30am. After a day enjoying all that Bournemouth has to offer, an afternoon tea buffet will be served in the lounge from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. At 6pm Christmas Eve drinks and canapes will be accompanied by carols in the lounge. The dress code is posh frocks and dark suits (black tie is optional) for the dinner, which is served from 6.30pm, afterwards relax or dance to the evening’s entertainment.

Christmas Day - Start the day with our fantastic “Norfolk” breakfast served from 8.00am to 9.45am after the excitement of unwrapping all those Christmas presents. Enjoy a pre-lunch drink and canapes followed by a traditional Christmas day luncheon served with all the trimmings. At 3.15pm in the lounge, there will be a special visit from Father Christmas who will bring a gift for all the young children. Tea and Christmas cake will be served during the afternoon between 4.00pm and 5.30pm. Draw the day to close with a festive buffet dinner followed by the evening’s entertainment.

Boxing Day - Full English breakfast will be served from 8.00am to 9.45am. Spend the morning at your leisure; walking along the beach, taking in the sights or visiting the Sales. Later on, after our Boxing Day buffet lunch served from 12.00 noon, enjoy the pantomime matinee at the Pavilion Theatre, returning to a warming pot of tea and the cake buffet. Dinner will be served from 6.30pm, afterwards relax or dance to the evening’s entertainment.

27th December - Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the restaurant before travelling home. For those of you staying that extra night, spend the day at your leisure before returning to the hotel for our special all you can eat Hog Roast dinner in our heated secret garden, with a complimentary drink on arrival and disco until late.

28th December - Before we wish you a fond farewell, enjoy a full English breakfast at your leisure.

Offer based on 2 guests occupying a twin or double room, shared accommodation. Rates include accommodation, dinner, full English breakfast each day, Lunch on the 25th and Cake Buffets on each day, entertainment and Pantomime on 26th and Car Parking (no reduction for meals not taken). VAT included at the current rate. Offer subject to availability. Rates valid for stays between 23rd December – 27th December. A non-refundable deposit of £100 per person is required to secure your reservation, with full payment to be made by 1st December 2018. New Year at

30th December - Arrive at leisure with check in from 3.00pm, and relax before the celebrations kick off. Afternoon tea will be served from 3.30pm until 5.00pm. The pre-dinner drinks reception commences at 6.00pm followed by dinner in Echoes Restaurant and entertainment in the lounge.

New Year’s Eve - Full English breakfast will be served from 8.00am until 10.30am. After a leisurely morning, join the outing to the pantomime in the afternoon, returning to a tea and cake buffet in the lounge. We will be hosting a black tie 5 course gala dinner in Echoes Restaurant with aperitif and canapes on arrival from 7.00pm with dinner served at 8.00pm, live entertainment will be playing into the early hours with bacon rolls served at 1.00am.

New Year’s Day - Your New Year will commence with a relaxed English breakfast from 9.00am until 12 noon. Your day could be spent relaxing or action packed depending on what you want to do, you may choose to take a leisurely swim in the pool, we can suggest the best scenic walks or purely take time out to sit and read in the lounge and indulge in the cake buffet from 3.00pm. Dinner will be served from 6.30pm followed by a relaxing evening enjoying the entertainment.

2nd January - Wake up leisurely in your stylish bedroom and leave feeling wonderfully refreshed after enjoying a hearty breakfast in the restaurant before travelling home. For those of you staying that extra night, spend the day at your leisure before returning to the hotel for our special all you can eat Hog Roast dinner in our heated secret garden, with complimentary drink on arrival and disco until late.

3rd January - Before we wish you a fond farewell, enjoy a full English breakfast at your leisure.
