Boulder River RanchPreserve DetailsLocated within an hour drive of Denver, Boulder River Ranch is a one mile stretch of South Boulder Creek and includes several trout ponds. This property boasts some of the finest fly fishing waters in the world. With great riffles and lots of pocket water, Boulder River Ranch is a great place to catch a grand slam (rainbow, brown, cutthroat and brook trout) in a single day. The hatches mimic our home preserve as they are thick, heavy and produce large fish on dry flies throughout the season.

June - August: Tan Caddis #14, Green Drake #12, Yellow Sallies #14, Red Quill #14, and Terrestrials.

Sept. - Nov.: Blue Winged Olives #20 and #16, Black Midge #22 - 26, and Grey Drake #12.

Directions and ParkingFrom Denver: From Denver: Take I-70 W towards Grand Junction - Take exit 265 to merger onto US-58 W toward Golden/Central City - Turn right on CO-93 N - Turn left onto CO-72/Coal Creek Canyon Rd - Turn left South Beaver Creek Road - Merge onto Pactolus Lake Road (the river at this point should always be on your right) - Turn right onto the Lincoln Hills Club bridge.

From Boulder: Take CO-119/Boulder Canyon Dr - Turn left onto Magnolia Rd - Take a slight left onto Co Rd 97 - Turn left to stay on Co Rd 97 - Take a sharp right onto CO-72 W/Coal Creek Canyon Rd - Turn left South Beaver Creek Road - Merge onto Pactolus Lake Road (the river at this point should always be on your right) - Turn right onto the Lincoln Hills Club bridge.

Parking: Upon arrival to Lincoln Hills visitors will follow the signs to the Guide Cabin and members and their guests will follow the signs for “members” to the member parking in front of the Clubhouse.
