The AVIOTEC provides reliable and early fire detection in challenging environments where standard detection methods can not offer satisfactory reaction times or no other solutions exist. Approved to VDS2344 the procedure for the Testing, Approval and Certification of products and systems for Fire Protection and Security Technologies, the AVIOTEC VFD offers proven detection reliability for all test fires (TF1 through TF8) as specified in ISO AS7240 and EN54 standards. AVIOTEC VFD has the ability to identify both smoke and flames at the source. By detecting fires at the source rather than the ceiling, the camera can issue an alarm within seconds when other standard detection methods can take minutes to detect an alarm condition. This fast reaction time reduces the emergency response time therefore minimising damage, loss of assets and life. Using intelligent algorithms, AVIOTEC can distinguish between real fires and disturbance values like reflections, movements or backlights. This guarantees a very reliable detection with almost no false alarms. On board SD card incident recording is available or the camera can be connected to a Video Recording Management System. The recording functionality provides the ability to playback video streams for root cause analysis and evaluation of an incident. This helps users eliminate and prevent hazardous situations in the future. With a fast ethernet port the AVIOTEC is easily configurable and can be monitored through network devices such as Client PCs and mobile devices. Verification time, sensitivity, detection size and selective masking for smoke and flame are individually configurable to adjust them to the customer needs. Flame and smoke detection can be activated or deactivated separately. 1. Video Recording Manager (VRM) 2. Client PC 3. Mobile Device 4. Description

The Bosch AVIOTEC IP Starlight 8000 video-based fire detection, is a new solution that supplements existing fire detection technologies.

With a fast ethernet port the AVIOTEC is easily configurable and can be monitored through network devices such as Client PC’s and mobile devices.

Verification time, sensitivity, detection size and selective masking for smoke and flame are individually configurable to adjust them to the customer needs. Flame and smoke detection can be activated or deactivated separately.
