Brad Ludden founded and manages First Descents, a non-profit organization aimed at getting young cancer survivors outside.

Adriene Levknecht is the lead staffer for First Descents and a fierce female competitor; accomplishing it all when she isn’t riding in an ambulance saving lives as a paramedic.

Anna Levesque founded Girls At Play, an organization that fosters female empowerment through kayaking and yoga and raises money for the Shannon Christy Fund.

Todd Wells collaborates with National Geographic on a variety of projects, and is as comfortable on the ramp of the world’s most prestigious competitions as he is locked in and committed to savage gorges in northern BC and Alaska.

Brendan Wells coaches for World Class Academy, which allows high school students to study while simultaneously experiencing foreign cultures and rivers in Chile, Nepal, and all over North America.

Jeff Laxier and Cate Hawthorne live and play on the beautiful Mendocino Coast of California, where they run a world class instruction program called Liquid Fusion and push limits possible in sea kayaking.

Isaac Hull is just your typical high school freshman ... goes to class, plays lacrosse, surfs giant river waves in Canada, races the class V+ Green River Narrows Race ... just normal kid stuff!
