BORDEAUX DE GLORIA 2015 BORDEAUX ROUGE OVERVIEW Château Gloria and its vineyard, located in Saint-Julien de Beychevelle, both have an atypical story. Henri Martin started to create the estate from the 80's, cautiously, row by row, exclusively buying parcels from Grands Crus of 1855 nearby. During several years, he managed to convince his neighbors from Saint-Julien to buy each plot for sale which are the secret of today's high quality wines. On the same path for quality and sharing, Château Gloria has created Le Bordeaux de Gloria. This wine is gingerly selected by the château team in order to meet any convivial moment all over the year. VINEYARD Soil: Deep Gunzian gravel from the Garonne River on a clayey-sandy subsoil. Grape varieties: 75% Merlot / 15% Cabernet Sauvignon / 10% Cabernet Franc VINIFICATION Classical vinification in thermo-regulated vats. Ageing in vats with French wooden staves. WINE TASTING Attractive dark and dense colour. The expressive nose displays subtle blend of black fruits (Morello cherry, blackcurrant) and roasted touch (toast, vanilla). On the palate, the wine is wide and fleshy, with nice fruity touch enhanced by élégant woody notes and pleasant tannins. MATCHING FOOD AND WINE Serve at 17-18°C with roast turkey chick, fish fillet and red wine sauce or with grilled fillet of duck breast and ground pepper sauce, along with home-made mashed potatoes. This wine will be perfect with a good selection of cheeses and fine cooked meats. AGEING POTENTIAL From 5 to 10 years
