BoothContent AreasCONVENExpoTM booths all share similar traits:

• At least one area for a logo

• A central 16:9 video content area

• Spaces for landscape or portrait images

• Content areas cannot be rotated with the exception of Booth Design 1. iPad screens on Booth 1 can be configured to ALL landscape or ALL portrait.

• A magazine rack for downloadable PDFs:

This accessory is set to the side of the booth. If you do not wish to have PDFs for download, the magazine rack can be removed.

PDFs on the magazine rack will open in a bookshelf view. Booth visitors can view, download, and print the PDF content. A maximum of 10 PDFs is accepted.

DesignerNotes

All content placed on your booth will be resized and possibly stretched by the 3D engine for optimal display within the virtual environment. Unlike layouts for print and web, the 3D environment considers the rules of perspective. Objects will recede into space as the viewer moves around inside the virtual expo hall. This guide provides suggested sizes for your content. It is best to prepare your materials with a 'closest match' mindset.

Content Recommendations

• Avoid using logo versions that include fine elements such as taglines and trademarks. Transparency in logo files is recommended. Eps or svg are best.

• Jumbotron logos should be provided as jpegs. The mark should be set on a 1080x1080 artboard with a 50px margin. Export to 72dpi.

• Video content should be in a 16:9 aspect ratio.

• If you only have content in landscape format but your booth requires portrait, consider placing it on an artboard that is sized to the content area, i.e., put a landscape image on a portrait artboard to reduce the amount of stretching that will occur.

• Avoid text heavy or overly detailed images on your booth. Consider using more artful designs such as large infographics or ad-style creative that you might see on a pull-up banner.

• Images on the booth can be linked to external web pages.

• PDFs will be placed on the magazine rack. Portrait-style documents are best. Please provide a jpg of the first page of the PDF along with your submission.

FileSpecs

File Naming• Add the content area number shown on your booth diagram to the beginning

of your file name, ex.: 1_CONVENELogo_RGB.eps• If you are providing PDFs, number each file in the order that you would like them to appear

in the book shelf, ex.: 1_CONVENEBoothGuide.pdf, 2_CONVENEPresenterGuide.pdf, etc.• Naming for the PDF's associated cover image, ex.: 1_CONVENEBoothGuide_cover.jpg• Naming for jumbotron images, ex.: ConveneLogo_RGB_jumbotron.jpg

Logos• Acceptable file formats: .eps, .svg, .png or .jpeg• All fonts must be outlined• RGB color mode• 300dpi and a minimum of 3000pixels on shortest side

Video • Acceptable file formats: .mov, .mp4• 720p or 1080p• Resolution: 1920x1080• Maximum acceptable file size: 30MB

PDFs• All fonts must be embedded• Maximum acceptable file size: 5MB per PDF

Images• Acceptable file formats: .jpeg, .tif, .gif or .png• RGB color mode• Maximum acceptable file size: 1MB• Jumbotron images: 1080x1080 with 50px margin
