I love the quote above from Pete's Greig's book on prayer. I really believe we need tolose the pressure of constant to-do lists, increasing workloads and pressures andbecome counter-cultural. It has never been about what we do for him, as if we can insome way, please him. Its really about how can we know him better in a relationship. Then we are on the same page "working WITH him and not FOR him" as Rob sharedin his fantastic talk a few weeks ago.

1 John 4:13-16This is how we know we’re living steadily and deeply in him, and he in us: He’s givenus life from his life, from his very own Spirit. Also, we’ve seen for ourselves andcontinue to state openly that the Father sent his Son as Savior of the world. Everyonewho confesses that Jesus is God’s Son participates continuously in anintimate relationship with God. We know it so well, we’ve embraced it heart andsoul, this love that comes from God.

Unfortunately, Rob's talk is not online yet. Due to times of prayer and intervals inbetween, it requires editing and I have no idea how to do this YET! A work inprogress!

What's been going on at CoCoChu this week:

We have relocated to Walwyn Road - Tim and Jon came with manpower tomove the filing cabinets and Tim carried one on each bicep as predicted! Thanks for your help guys! The office telephone number is now working again.I am available Tues, Weds, Thurs 9-4 ish. Please contact the office if you needanything (apologies that the telephone has been off for a while).Andy has been ensuring our GDPR compliance during the move by keepingaccount information at a secure location!!! For someone who is no longer ourTreasurer, he is still around an awful lot and is always extremely helpful! Thanks, Andy.We have received delivery of our new printer and an engineer has been out toinstall drivers (whatever that means). Tom and Katherine held their first Baptism session on Tuesday evening goingthrough what this declaration of faith means and why it is important as well asencouraging people to consider their personal testimony of faith. Want to share in giving?CoCoChu is entirely supported by the giving of people who come here. If you would like to speak to someone

about giving, then see anyone of the leadership team who can point you in the right direction. Our giving is totally anonymous to all but the =nance team – most people give by standing order, but if you

prefer there is a black box for offerings and donations on the welcome desk. If you are a tax payer please dosign a Gift Aid form to enable the church to recover tax and make the money go further. Once completed

these can be put in the black box.
