    Moments of the session

    Pre-Session

    With our most recent changes to our National Selec-on Conferences, the only moments of the session

    which are prepared beforehand are the PortugueseVillage and the Euroconcert.

    his means that for the Chairs, the Pre-Session work

    will consist of contributing to the Preparation Kit,nce the Chairs and resolution topics are picked.

    More information on the distribution of chairs perrefered committee will be given later on.

    Delegates prepare for the topic they pick.

    Teambuilding

    nteractive games with the purpose of making the

    arious elements of the group get to know eachther and create a group dynamic.

    Committee Work

    Work developed between the chair and the dele-ation with the objective of creating a motion for a

    esolution on the Committees Topic and promot-

    ng debate, so as to prepare the delegates for theefense of their motion and for the debate of the

    thers.he skills acquired at this moment, through de-ate, discution, persuasion and negotiation, wille essential to them in the future.

    Portuguese Village

    Activity which intends to divulge and sharethe typical gastronomic products of the regionswhere the dierent delegations comefrom.

    The youngsters are also encouraged to share

    cultural aspects, such as typical costumes,dances and documentation of the region.

    Opening Ceremony

    Solemn moment of the session, with the pres-ence of various important Portuguese and Eu-ropean entities, in which the Session is ociallyopened.

    In this ceremony the ambassador of each delega-

    tion must present a text about his/ her school and

    city he/she comes from. This speech should havethe maximum size of anA4 page and must be written in English.The delegates must wear formal clothing.

    Euroconcert

    Activity which promotes cultural enrichment:

    one or more elements of each delegationwill perform, on stage, a musical piece,sketch or dance number, with the maximumlenght of 15 minutes.
