MT BULLER Snow Camp

ABOUT MT BULLER SNOW CAMPMt Buller, one of Victoria’s premier snow regions is our most popular weekend away for the year! Participants will stay in the beautiful township of Merrijig on the outskirts of the National Park. The group will spend the day at Mt Buller Village to enjoy many activities such as tobogganing, chairlift to the summit, build snowmen along with the odd snowball fight! Don’t discount the drive home though as you visit some beautiful stops along the way.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDEActivities will include but not limited to: snow toboggans, chair lift to the summit, lunch at the summit restaurant, snow man building, snow fight, local town visit (Euroa/ Seymour/ Marysville)

ABOUT PHILLIP ISLANDPhillip Island is just 90 mins from Melbourne and a favorite holiday destination for people from all over the world. Known as the home of the little penguin, inconic wildlife and stunning white beaches join us for a weekend exploring all the best attractions this tourist mecca has to offer. The group will stay at CYC Philip Island Adventure Resort with lots of opportunities to explore the island including the popular Penguin Parade.

CONNECTIONSActivities will include but not limited to: penguin parade, explore the coastline and natural environment, teams challenges, sports, Churchill Island farm, explore the historic township of Cowes.

ABOUT DAYLESFORDDaylesford is a small town set near the beautiful surrounds of the Wombat State Forest in Central Victoria that is well known for its mineral springs and day spas. We’ll be staying close to town at a horse farm called Boomerang Ranch. Over the weekend we’ll be taking in the beautiful surrounds of the district and sampling some of the attractions the town and region has to offer.

CONNECTIONSActivities will include but are not limited to; Boomerang Ranch, Daylesford township and Hepburn Springs Day Spa, Cider House, Chocolate Factory.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT (OUTCOMES)The focus of this weekend away is to provide a relaxing and unique experience for participants.• Meet new people and develop friendships.• Develop independent living skills such as helping at meal times, keeping bedrooms and living

spaces tidy and making decisions about activities etc.• Relax, take in a spa and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of the Daylesford community in central

Victoria• Experience a working farm. Boomerang Ranch is a working horse farm on the outskirts

of Daylesford. The farm provide many opportunities for participants to assist with horses (feeding, grooming etc.) as well as assisted horse rides.

INTERSTATE TRIPLook out Gold Coast here we come!!! This will be our first ever interstate trip! If you’d like a holiday in this world famous location then we’d love to hear from you. We’ll be staying 4 nights, hitting the waves, theme parks and all the other best bits the Goldy has to offer. Get in quick, expressions of interest are open now!

ABOUT AIREYS INLET AND ANGAHOOK YMCAAngahook is an adventure recreation camp located on the outskirts of Airey’s Inlet, a town on the world famous Great Ocean Road in Victoria’s South East. Bordering the Otway’s National Park Angahook provides opportunities to explore the picturesque local environment, spectacular beaches and heritage listed National Park all year round. Angahook is a place for the adventurous at heart providing a host of outdoor recreation activities.

CONNECTIONSActivities will include but not limited to: GIANT swing, team challenges, orienteering, beach visit, paddleboarding or mountain bike riding, camp fire, disco, night walk.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT (OUTCOMES)This is a development opportunity for our younger participants to work on their confidence and develop the independence to be away from their families for a short period of time.• Respite for families and carers.• Meet new people and develop friendships.• Provide opportunities for people to try new things and challenge themselves in a safe and

ABOUT PORT FAIRYPort Fairy is an historic seaside town and one of Australia’s favourite tourist destinations located on the South West corner of Victoria. The group will be staying in cabins at the popular Big 4 caravan park which is close to restaurants, beaches and the historic port. You can look forward to a weekend full of adventure and local sightseeing such as a trip down the Yambuck Slide, fishing, Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum and Tower Hill reserve.

CONNECTIONSActivities will include but not limited to: Yambuck slide, Griffiths Island walk and lighthouse visit, fishing, Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum, Port Fairy township, mini golf, Tower Hill flora and fauna reserve.

ABOUT LADY NORTHCOTE CAMPNestled in the heart of the town of Bacchus Marsh in country Victoria just 45mins from Melbourne is the wonderful YMCA Lady Northcote camp. Well known for it’s laid back atmosphere and friendly locals this outdoor recreation camp is your chance to be out in the sunshine trying a range of new adventure activities including teams challenges, water based activities to keep cool and a visit to the local pub!

CONNECTIONSActivities will include but not limited to: team challenges, water based activities (canoe/ kayak/ or raft building), low ropes course, possum prowl, yabbying, tree planting and mountain bike riding.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT (OUTCOMES)This weekend away has an adventure recreation theme but all participants are encouraged to participate at their own pace.
