One day four children went to a campsite. They play hide and seek, but one of them, David, fell down in a cave and he broke his wrist so he couldn’t go out. One group of climbers helped him, they gave him one bag with food and one torch because David had to spend all night into the cave. In the morning they hooked him in with a harness and they rescued him. All friends cried of happiness because they were so afraid.

PERSONAL OPINION. The book is very interesting and the photos are very beautiful and incredible. My favourite character is David, because he is the main character.

CAVES

Miss Grace Green and the Clown Brothers.

In the deep blue sea there are three bad, big and hungry fish, purple, yellow and black. The three big fish swim to a big white rock where the clown brothers are playing. But suddenly they came to strange flower. What is it?’ says the yellow fish. It is a flower!’ It is very ugly flower!’ says the black fish. . I am not ugly!’ answered the flower. The flower was very angry so she immobilizes the black fish, the three big fish get escape. The small fish started to talk with the flower. Look! She is beautiful! Wow!’ The clown brothers and Miss Grace Green establish a friendship. The flower protects the clown brothers from the big fish. Opinion This book is very infantile, because the vocabulary is easy, but the pictures are very good. The story is very cool and interesting. It is not a comic and it is very short.

Silly Squirrel

Sid is a squirrel , he lives in a tree. Winter is here and Sid is hungry and cold. Sid looks for food. He finds and apple, a lemon, a banana, an orange, eggs and a sandwich, too. Sid is silly and the tree is full ! Where can he sleep now? My Opinion The book is really good. I like it because Sid is very silly, he is... like me !!

Sharks and Dolphins

My opinion

I liked this book because it's fun and entertaining. And partly

because I really like dolphins. I would recommend it to my

colleagues because you also learn a lot about dolphins and sharks.

The City Under

the Sea

The story is about the

discovery of a lost city beneath the sea, a beautiful city. Sally grabbed her

camera and took a photo when Dr Shaw was sleeping. He was looking for a giant squid in the ocean. And it

happens in the deep-sea.

Opinion

I like this story because it is fun, interesting. And I

like the animals that appear in the story, but I don’t like the first pictures of the book, the rest are very

beautiful.

THE SILLY SQUIRREL

This is a squirrel that goes crazy. She puts food in her house

because winter is approaching. And she has a lot of food already.

But she gets more bananas, more apples, more lemons, more eggs

and more oranges into her house. She is very stupid because her

house is too full of food. Then, when she tries to enter when she

feels the cold of winter, she plays to be made a bird.

OPINION

I like the book because it is very funny. My favourite character

is the squirrel because the characters are only two.

PIRATE’S GOLD MY OPINION

The book is fantastic. The pirate has gold, but he is silly. It is fun because they stole the gold but then, it is easy to get it back. And I recommend it to my friends. But you have to know English!

Rubbish Rivals

Wally Walker and poor Mrs.

Goff are rivals in the recycling

business. When Specks invents

a machine and Mrs. Goff wants

it, and Elott steals it, but it does

not work without a password.

Opinion

I like the story because it is fabulous and very nice.

I am impressed! I read a book in English! And I love it! For the

first time in my life! GREAT!!!!

The Mad teacher

This book is about a normal day in the school. In the classes there is teacher Robson, he is very boring and later he is crazy. Laura has got an idea: the teacher has got a big button and three small buttons on his back. The blue button is calm, orange is clever and purple is raving mad. Bob is on the chair and he presses a button. Now the teacher is silent, and he is not mad, he is a robot. The teacher is normal, he is calm, very calm. He is a bit boring, too. The children press the purple button. Finally, the teacher is very fun.
