The Oxford University Press (OUP) launched Liking Progress, Loving Change: A Literary History of the Progressive Writers’ Movement in Urdu, by Rakshanda Jalil recently. The book was released by Javed Akhtar. Ranjan Kaul, manag- ing director, OUP was also present on the occasion. Awards OP Jain, director of Sanskriti Kendra, felicitated the schol- ars of ARThinkSouthAsia (ATSA) Fellowship at the British Council. The event also marked the completion of five years of ATSA. Design project Entrepreneurial Empowerment Through Design, a compilation of 21 case studies of design projects under the Design Clinic Scheme for MSMEs, was launched recently at the India Habitat Centre. Present on the occasion were members from CII, FICCI, FISME, PHDCCI, FOUNDATION, MY ANCHOR, ACMA, NIESBUD, TAI, IIT, SPA, NIFT and ITM. Madhav Lal, secretary, Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises was also present at the launch. Festival DLF Emporio concluded its month-long luxury shopping festival recently. Sanjay Kapoor, managing director, Genesis Luxury, helped reveal winners of the lucky and mega draws. The mega draw included a brand new Harley Davidson Street 750 and a com- plimentary holiday at Hayman Island, Australia for five nights and six days along with four business class return tickets. Speech Shiv Khera gave a motivation- al speech at Humsafar district training assembly organised by incoming district governor, Rtn Sanjay Khanna of Rotary International District 3010 at Hotel Ashok. Workshop A workshop on soft skills development was organised at the Asia Pacific Institute of Management by Mamta Shrivastav.
