SS: We finished Colonial Life, and tested on Ch. 4. We’ll be taking a break from SS until after the math FSA.ELA: This week, we focused on conclusions/generalizations, verbs, and our prefix, “hyper-.”Math: We just finished adding/subtracting fractions, and will now focus on multiplying/dividing fractions, as well as measurement. Science: We just began Force and Motion, which is very short! Word of the Week:Our word of the week was “honesty.” Being honest means choosing not to lie, cheat, steal, or deceive in any way. When we are honest, we build strength of character. Others will respect and trust you. Always remember, honesty is the best policy!

Time Change ReminderDon’t forget, we go back to a 1:45/12:30 dismissal time starting TODAY (April 2nd)!

FSAWith FSA testing right around the corner, we’ll be doing a lot of cramming to cover everything that needs to get accomplished. However, I don’t want my scholars to stress too much about the test. They’ve all done a wonderful job this year, and I’m confident that they’ll do well. Try to keep things loose at home, and make sure that during testing, they’re getting plenty of sleep and a nutritious breakfast!

For Monday, students should neatly write and mark each of the following words with large, legible print on the index cards sent home today.
