This chapter continues with the ‘plural’ theme, but this time focusing on the ‘pronoun’; both in noun and verb form. For example: ( - | أ ا ﻓـ- ﻓـ). The word ي أ(which) is always used as a (ﻣﻀﺎف), hence it will have a grammatical affect the noun that follows it i.e that of ﺟﺮ. We have now learnt that all non-Arabic proper nouns are diptotes (اﳌﻤﻨﻮع ﻣﻦ اﻟﺼﺮف), except for those who are triliteral and their penulti- mate letter is quiescent and masculine. The plural: Continued...

This chapter continues with the ‘plural’ theme, but this time

focusing on the ‘pronoun’; both in noun and verb form. For

example: (فـعل - فـعلوا | أنا - نحن).

The word أي (which) is always used as a (مضاف), hence it will have

a grammatical affect the noun that follows it i.e that of جر.

We have now learnt that all non-Arabic proper nouns are diptotes

-except for those who are triliteral and their penulti ,(الممنوع من الصرف)
