Cemoveris a sterile single-usedevice for removalof bone cement

In cemented prosthesis revisions, the

cement may remain adherent to the bone.

Cemover, the innovative cement pull

extractor allows completely and accurately

removing residual cement.

The device consists of metamers

connected to each other that allow

segmental cement removal.

Perforate the plug with an 8 mm Drill using the special centringdevice. It is advisable to cool the 8 mm Drill by spraying thecanal with physiological saline solution

Fully and forcefully screw the Plug Remover Staff down into thehole made with the 8 mm Drill.

Remove the plug using the Plug Remover Staff

Remove the plug.If you have difficulties, connect the instrument used forremoval of the segments to the double-threaded junctionwith the Plug Remover Staff

Remove the prostheses

Mill the femoral canal

Remove and aspirate any fragments and dry thoroughly

Insert the Ventilation tube in the canal and fill it withlow viscosity bone cement

Immediately insert Cemover and wait for the new cement to polymerize

Assemble the instrument in the following order:1) Hammering Mass Staff2) Hammering Mass3) Double-Threaded junction4) Cemover Staff

Screw the instrument onto the first metamer

The metamer is removed by repeatedly acting on the Hammering Mass

screw the instrument onto the next metamer and repeat operation 7for all the metamers until complete removal.
