    DOM Prignon Brut Ros 00 , pernay This beautiful rose is produced by the same methods as the DOM Prignon Brut, but with the red fruit being left on itsskins for longer to extract their colour. A nose of crystallised fruit and hints of fresh bread leads on to a unctuous palateof red cherries and strawberries. The finish is long and luxurious.

    Fresh citrus flavours combine brilliantly with subtle toasty oak. This wine has p ure, clean fruit, leaving it fresh andsurprisingly complex for such a young wine.

    Nederburg Private Bin D270 Chardonnay 06, Western CapeNIWA 90 Bright pale gold. Full, slightly developed nose yet still fairly youthful. Loaded with ripe white peach and tropicalcharacters. Hints of lemon, lime and lees. Great touch of spicy oak in support.

    Meerlust Chardonnay 09, Stellenbosch Flavours of lime, marzipan, creamy oak and expansive apple and pear characteristics.

    SAUVIGNON BLANC

    Oak Valley Sauvignon Blanc 09, Elgin 50 Lovely floral aromas, showing lime and mineral undertones. Ripe gooseberry and pears on the palate with a freshfinish.

    Waterford Sauvignon Blanc 10, Stellenbosch 55 Clear and bright, excellent colour. Juicy quince and gooseberry aromas. Steely minerality up front giving way to acreamy, yeasty mouthfeel. Long finish.

    Meerendal Sauvignon Blanc 07, DurbaTropical fruit and garden fresh herbs and bell peppers mix on the nose of this crisp, very dry white wine.

    Vinum Chenin Blanc 08, Stellenbosch 45The nose hints at the wonderful elegance and vibrancy of this wine. White petals and citrus crispiness integrated withlight touches of vanilla and cinnamon.

    Raats Original Chenin Blanc 10, Stellenbosch 50 Crafted without oak to preserve all the original vibrant freshness. Exploding with succulent green melon, apple,pineapple, citrus and hints of ginger in the mouth, perfectly weighted with a crisp, mineral finish.

    Old Vines 'Barrel Reserve' Chenin Blanc 03 , StellenboschNIWA 50Bright gold. Decided mature notes have developed which accentuate the bees wax character as well as the honey tones.While the tropical and citrus notes remain as clear as ever. Good structure and fine combination of oak and flavour. Richand full with slight sweetish note on the pa late yet dry finish.

    Teddy Hall Reserve Chenin Blanc 09, Stellenbosch 60A rich golden colour with the faintest of g reen tinges, the nose offers abundant nougat, pineapple and summer fruitaromas. On the palate there's a distinct dryness with the vanillins of the oak counterbalancing the tropical fruit andbaked apple flavours. Underlying the wine's pedigree is an intense finish which lingers!

    Jean Daneel 'Auction Reserve' Chenin Blanc 06 , CoastalNIWAPale yellow with deepening core. Some maturity beginning to show on the nose but youthful characters still dominate.Combination of apple, citrus and some tropical tones make for great fruit salad on the nose. Finest of fine oaky noteswith sweet vanilla in the background. Super and rich in the mouth with tremendous array of ripe fruit flavours all wellmelded together and giving a sweet sensation to a bone dry wine. Beautiful balance and still has zesty acidity.

    De Morgonzen Chenin Blanc 09, Stellenbosch This wine is in perfect balance with complex flavours on the nose, a rich concentrated mouth-feel with marvelousdepth, flowery mid-palate, and layers of tropical fruit culminating in a long lingering finish.

    Rijks 'Private Cellar' Chenin Blanc 02, TulbaghNIWADeep, straw yellow. Amazing mature nose loaded with oak and deep tropical aromas plus rich peach and charred toast.Honey and apricot are there with sweet vanilla. Big, well rounded mouth with mature, mellow notes and filled with welldeveloped flavours that follow the nose.

    Elgin Vintners Viognier 09, Elgin 65This multi-faceted wine displays a medley of sun ripe white peaches and apricot with hints of white rose and jasmineblossom. Delicate, juicy, intense flavours follow through, with striking and chiselled laser-like acidity, lending ultracool freshness and vibrancy. Delightful, persistent long lingering aftertaste.

    Eagles Nest Viognier 09, Constantia 75Beautiful golden hue. Primary aromas of ripe peach, apricot and later jasmine flower. A fresh, rich mouth filling palatewith white stone pip flavour and telltale Viognier spices. Positive acidity coupled with subtle wooding ensures a crispervelvety smooth finish and lingering aftertaste.

    Fleur du Cap Unfiltered Limited Release Viognier 05, StellenboschNIWA 80 This full bodied Viognier displays intense peach, floral and dried fruit flavours on the nose. It is powerful on the palatewith nuances of vanilla oak and a spicy finish.

    Simonsig Gewrztraminer 10, Stellenbosch 50

    Star-bright pale straw colour. Full blown nose with exotically perfumed aromas of lychees, rose petals, honey and atouch of Turkish delight. The richness and complex layered flavours of late harvested sun ripe grapes culminate in adelicious, well-balanced spicy Gewrztraminer, with perfect harmony between the fruit, acidity and sweetness.

    Paul Cluver Gewrztraminer 10, Elgin 55 Delicious litchi, rose petal and honeysuckle aromas on the nose that carry through to mouth, which is bursting withfruit flavour through to a lovely long clean finish.

    RIESLING Glass

    De Wetshof Rhine Riesling 09, Robertson A dry, yet delicate wine, complex on the nose and palate with a spicy, deep fruity flavour.

    Paul Cluver Weisser Riesling 09, Elgin 50This wine shows typical varietal flavour, lots of spice and floral tones. It is very austere and has the typical Rieslingnervousness. The palate is elegant and rich with a long lingering aftertaste carried by the great acidity of the wineoften associated with this varietal.

    Klein Constantia Riesling 09, Constantia 55Light yellow in appearance with a greenish tinge. The nose exudes mandarin, pineapple and citrus blossom aromas.The intense palate balances the fine, mineral element of the wine's structure. A wonderful persistence of flavour onthe finish bodes well for further maturation in bottle.

    MUSCAT, BUKETTRAUBE & SEMILLON

    Thelema Muscat d'Frontignan 09, Stellenbosch 40Semi-sweet. Fragrant, fresh litchi fruit flavours in nice balance; an irresistible quaffer!

    Cederberg Bukettraube 09, Cederberg 45Exotic and very delicate floral and fruit salad aromas, with a hint of honey and dried peaches.

    Creation Semillon 10, Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge 50 Light straw-yellow in colour, with glints of green. The invigorating, salty bouquet is complemented by delightful hintsof green fig and petit pois. All in all a unique, terroir-expressive Semillon, yet with the waxy, lanolin character true tothis variety.

    Boekenhoutskloof Semillon 06, Franschhoek Fresh green apple notes with a strong citrus character dominate the nose of this wine. With time the rich waxy lanolinflavours will overpower these more primary fruit flavours. Well integrated oak ads to the depth and complexity of thiswine.

    Whalehaven Viognier-Chardonnay 08, Hermanus Pale straw in colour with good clarity. Fresh, un-oaked and aromatic with peach, honey and citrus blossom. Full richflavours with grip and a long lingering aftertaste.

    Black Rock White Blend 07, Swartland 65An integrated and seamless composition of white petals, apricots and bright fruitiness. A blend of Chenin Blanc,Chardonnay, Clarette Blanc and Viognier.

    Rall White Blend 08, Swartland 90A rich and intense wine. The nose shows white peach, marmalade and also some lingering limey notes. The palate isfull of tropical flavours and almost oily texture. The aftertaste is long and fresh due to the good structure and aciditythat hold the wine together.

    Anthonij Rupert Nemesia 06, Western Cape A rich, spicy, smoky wine with a complex array of fruit aromas ranging from lemon and litchi to violets and perfume.Layers of ripe, white fruits and an intensity and depth that will benefit from decanting before you enjoy this wine

    Sterhuis Astra 07, Bottelary Hills An equal blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay selected from the best barrels in the Sterhuis cellars.The result is a dense, powerful, yet elegant wine with an intriguing tangerine citru complexity and a long spicy, rich finish.

    Sadie Family Palladius 08, Swartland The wine has a very limey and opulent tropical flavour with the usual stone fruit. On the palate the wine is dense and witha fantastic acidity, holding the wine in a very persistent finish that just lingers on.

    CABERNET SAUVIGNON & CABERNET FRANC Glas

    Doolhof Signatures Cabernet Sauvignon 07, Wellington 45Rich tones of dark berries and cassis on the nose, cherry and plum flavours on the palate and spicy oak with juicytannins contribute to the wines character.

    Warwick First Lady 09, Simonsberg 45The wine has a deep and intense ruby red colour. The nose shows ripe red berries, prunes and blackcurrants,complemented by sweet oak and black pepper undertones. The smooth, ripe, round tannins make this wine easy todrink while retaining a full body. The ba lanced acid creates a firm finish that is complemented by a lingering sweetness.

    Marklew Cabernet Sauvignon 05, Stellenbosch 60Well toned muscularity, classic mulberry and cassis concentration with dry insistent tannins which yield to a memorablefinish.

    Le Riche Cabernet Sauvignon 08, Stellenbosch 95Spicy oak complemented by ripe cherry and red fruit flavours. Soft, supple tannins are balanced with a firm acidity andlingering, juicy finish.

    Nederburg Private Bin R163 Cabernet Sauvignon 01, Paarl NIWADeep purple with wonderful aromatic bouquet. Great concentration of black currant, ripe plum and dark cherry. Intensein the mouth yet maybe not as concentrated as earlier vintages. Far more elegance and refinement and smoothlytextured.yet lots of strong fruit flavours and great persistence. Tannins are already well integrated and give delightfuldryness and pleasant grip to the finish.

    Rainbows End Cabernet Franc 08, Banghoek Intense youthful dark, red purple colour. Typical red fruit character. Some violets and a hint of truffle on the nose.Wonderful concentration of meaty, earthy flavours with a hint of dark chocolate. Rich grippy tannins.

    High Constantia Cabernet Franc 04, Constantia 95Sun-ripe, lush, mouth-coating wine, earthy sweet red berries. Matured in new and second fill French Oak barrels for28 months. Characteristic spicy nose, earthy, herbaceous with a slight hint of violets from the most elegant of all theBordeaux varietals.

    Raats Cabernet Franc 08, Stellenbosch 145This super elegant wine combines a core of luscious blackberry, black cherry, and plum with expressive notes of liquorice, tobacco, coffee and spice. Silky tannins caress the palate, and hints of dark chocolate, mineral, come throughon the long, supple finish.

    SYRAH / SHIRAZ Glas

    Joubert-Tradouw Private Cellar Syrah 06, Tradouw 60This wine is full of natural fruit, mint and warm spices (cinnamon and cloves). The Syrah has been matured for 16months in Burgundy oak, and is an unfiltered, naturally fermented, full-bodied and complex wine.

    Nederburg Private Bin R121 Shiraz 02, W.Cape NIWAOpaque with dark blue/black rim. Ripe plum and pepper dominates the nose with whiff of smoke in the background alongwith some floral notes. Big rounded mouth with layers of flavours including black cherry, ripe plum, cinnamon, coffee andanaise. Great oak support and soft, pliable tannins. Smooth across the palate with fine texture. Smoke, spice and floralnotes jostle in the long finish.

    Vin dOrrance Syrah Cuvee Ameena 07, W.Cape 90 A rich aromatic wine, with deep ruby hues. The nose combines dark spices, chocolate and white pepper. Its freshnesssets it apart from many, as does the dry savoury length.

    Meerendal Shiraz Bin 159 05, DurbBlack-purple in colour with aromas of black berries, dark chocolate and spice followed by freshly cracked black pepper.rich and full ripe flavours in the mouth and fine ripe tannins allow early drinking. It has herb and spicy aromas in thelong finish.

    Luddite Shiraz 06, Bot River 115The 2005 vintage in the region was definitely one of the cooler ones this century. This long ripening period hasresulted in a finely balanced classic Shiraz. Ruby crimson in appearance with herbs, spice, cinnamon and chocolate onthe nose. Plums, raspberry and dark chocolate on entry. The middle palate has definite savoury liquorice tones backedby dark fruits. This all finishes with fine tannins and balanced wood use.

    Boekenhoutskloof Syrah 08, Franschhoek This wine shows intense depth of fruit with delicate texture and well-integrated tannins. The nose is explosive withblack fruit, raspberries and hints of blossom. The elegance and texture of this wine make it extremely accessible at anearly stage.

    Mont Destin Destiny Shiraz 06, Paarl Voluptuous, intense, sensuous and well-balanced. Complex and layered with mouthfilling rich, ripe red and black berrieswith hints of pepper and spice. The tannins are supple and all the components of the wine are in harmony. The finish islong and savoury.

    MERLOT Glass

    Villiera Merlot 08, Stellenbosch 40 The colour of the wine is b rilliant red. The aroma shows hints of cedar wood and vanilla with attractive dark berry fruit.On the palate the wine is rich and full with soft tannins and good acidity.

    Dunstone Merlot 08, Wellington 45Matured in French oak barrels for up to 14 months this wine is full of dark berry and plum flavours.

    Eagles Nest Merlot 06, Constantia 75The underlying spiciness which is typical of cool climate grapes pushes through the fruit quite powerfully. The wine iswell rounded to the point of being velvety.

    De Trafford Merlot 07, Stellenbosch 95Concentrated cassis, mocha and dark chocolate flavours spring to the fore, with a distinctive mintiness. Aged for 18months in French oak barrels.

    PINOT NOIR

    Kleine Zalze Vineyard Selection Pinot Noir 09, Stellenbosch 50The wine shows a bright red colour with intense tangy tannins and mineral fruit flavours. The wine shows an elegant,silky length with a medium full structure.

    Paul Cluver Pinot Noir 09, Elgin 10With excellent colour, this wines expressive wild berry on the nose is complemented by hints of chocolate, violet andcoffee aromas. The complex palate overflows with lingering sweet berry flavours; its finish is typically velvety.

    Bouchard Finlayson Galpin Peak Pinot Noir 09, Walker Bay This wine has an appealing fresh fruit structure with accentuated length and elegance on the palate. It is in harmonywith its expectations and does not disappoint in its rich candid finish.

    PINOTAGE Glass

    Clos Malverne Pinotage Reserve 08, Stellenbosch 50Full-bodied. Dark plum colour. The wine shows a ripe berry character complimented by vanilla and spicy flavours.

    Meerendal Pinotage 06, Stellenbosch 55The wine has a deep dark ruby colour with sweet fruit and some spice and dark chocolate on the nose. It displays juicyred and black berry flavours on the pa late with soft tannins. It has a classic dry elegant finish.

    Beyerskloof Pinotage Reserve 08, Stellenbosch 65Full-bodied wine with deep purple colour. Dark berry and plum flavours are well integrated with the cedar flavours of the French oak.

    Nederburg Private Bin R172 Pinotage 99, W.Cape NIWADeep purple core with bluish tinge. Nose is beginning to show some mature notes while ripe plum and banana are stillvery evident. Good oak support. Rich and full in the mouth where prune joins the mellow mix. Gentle mouth with supple,soft tannins. A lovely violet aroma with a long, satisfying finish.

    Durbanville Hills Pinotage 04, Durbanville NIWAStill has very youthful purple colour. Surprisingly forward nose and lots of it. Distinctly different Pinotage withbrambleberries, raspberries, rhubarb and lantana! Oak is fairly prominent but fits well. Sweetened fruit mouth with layersof flavour as the nose suggested with addition of spice and some dark cherry. Well rounded tannins lead into a full finish.

    Simonsig Auction Reserve Pinotage 07, Stellenbosch CWGDark, brooding black berry fruit, infused with perfumed, sweet vanilla pod aromas. Rich, complex plum and sour cherryflavours intertwine with smooth ripe tannins. A boldly structured, full bodied Pinotage from an outstanding vintageindicates excellent maturation potential.

    Zonnebloem Pinotage 00, Stellenbosch CWG Magnum 1.5 litre Rich ruby violet. Prominent fruit aromas with traces of violets, cherries and chocolate. A medium to full-bodied wine withan abundance of fruit enhanced by a touch of spicy oak.

    Vuurberg Reserve 06, Banhoek Valley 70 Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot blend with a dash of Petit Verdot. Leafy, strawberry-infused palate. Fine tannic structuresupported by new oak. Powerful wine at 15.3% alc.

    Nederburg Private Bin R109 Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot 03, W.Cape NIWADeep, dark, purple core. Ripe plum and dark berries on the nose with fine oak backing and lovely floral notes with violetsand lavender. Rich and full in the mouth with great texture. Flavour develops all the time while building into full, ripefruited crescendo. Side notes of coffee and chocolate with some vanilla and cinnamon. Great balance and elegance.

    Uitkyk Cabernet Sauvignon / Shiraz 01, Simonsberg-Stellenbosch NIWADeep ruby core with fading edge. Attractive ripe berry fruit and plum nose with hints of pepper and some wood smoke.Great fruit flourish in the mouth with fine oak support and well mannered tannins. Developing good complexity with veryagreeable ripe fruit flavours.

    Nederburg Private Bin R103 Cabernet Sauvignon / Shiraz 02, W.Cape NIWADark ruby core with bright rim. Ripe berry with smoke and spice on the nose with clean, spicy oak backing. Rich fullmouth with ripe berry flavours and sweet raspberry and blackberry core. Some toasty vanilla sweetness and wood smokynotes. Firm structure and supple tannins. The palate all begins with a gracious swish of cherries, blue berries, ripe fruit flavours spread across the tongue followed by a smooth english toffee and mint finish.A wine that truly expresses the cultivars true colours.

    Terra Del Capo Sangiovese 07, Coastal 45 Hints of smokiness (cherry tobacco) combined with earthy mineral elements and rich fruit flavours such as prunes,apricots and peaches. This wine has an elegant tannin structure that ends softly with a slightly sweet sensation. Thearoma and flavour are reminiscent of strawberry jam, prunes, dried cherry and raspberry with an earthy meatinesson the palate.

The tannins are typically a bit tight and the earthy, wood-like appeal makes for a fairly rustic wine.This is a typical Malbec with its dark, almost black, plum colour, cassis and Christmas cake nose.

    Delheim Edelspatz Riesling Noble Late Harvest 09, Stellenbosch Produced from Rhine Riesling grapes grown in a single vineyard situated on a north easterly facing slope on theSimonsberg mountain. Aromas of dried apricot and honey, dusted with botrytis. The wine is lusciously sweet, butwell-balanced, with a crisp finish and a lingering aftertaste.

    Paul Cluver Weisser Riesling Noble Late Harvest 10, Elgin 4Perfectly luscious. The nose is filled with notes of dried apricot, spice and honey. The mouth feel is full and rich, yetthe finish is clean and refreshing. Well balanced - the aftertaste seems to last forever.

    Nederburg Eminence 04, Paarl 4Bright, pale gold. Nose is powered by perfume of jasmine, lime and grapefruit. Some gentle mango notes in the background. Lively, clean acidity balances the rich sugar packed mouth. Despite all the flavour it is elegantly light in themouth.

    Nederburg Edelkeur 02, Paarl 4Pale gold with green reflections. Massive floral flush at the start of the nose followed by tropical fruit salad wherepineapple and mango feature with peach and citrus in the background. All underpinned by clean botrytis. Relativeyouth gives boisterous mouth with lively play on the palate while the keen acidity lifts all the flavours.

    Nederburg Private Bin S316 Weisser Noble Late Harvest 02, Paarl 4Pale gold with coppery flecks. Very attractive and unusual nose with gooseberry, honey, apricots and hint of spearmintand nut. Botrytis is evident but not d ominating. Rich and sweet yet not the slightest bit cloying.

    Klein Constantia Vin de Constance 05, Constantia Bright golden in colour with fresh green tinge. The Richly aromatic nose displays candied orange peel, sun dried peachesand whiffs of sandalwood. The palate is full and viscous with waves of white peach and pear flavours, restrained acidityand fine, nutty finish

    Boplaas Cape Tawny NV, Carlitzdorp Lovely burnished coppery gold, lively nutty aromas with a touch of nutmeg and a crme caramel finish.

    De Krans Cape Tawny NV, Carlitzdorp Lovely copper-gold. Flavours of coffee-toffee, hazelnut, cinnamon spice, as well as some raisins in the background.Good, long finish and excellent grip at 19.5% alcohol.

    Boplaas Cape Vintage Reserve 06, Carlitzdorp 4Deep opaque, blackish purple colour. Aromas of violets just fly out of the glass. In the mouth endless layers of ripeblackberry fruit coat the p alate. Great depth of structure with sweet liquorice flavour combining with rich tannins,give the wine an outstanding complexity.

    De Krans Cape Vintage Reserve 06, Carlitzdorp The wine shows a vibrant plum colour, with dense aromas of prune, spice and tobacco. A fleshy, chewy mouthful of flavours, showing tannic grip, concentrated red fruit nuances, and a firm structure ensuring considerable longevity.
