Term 4 is always a busy one in schools, and I imagine that as we run into the Christmas rush, this year will be no exception. This time of year is also a period where teachers are preparing reports for parents and making assessments of their students’ learning and progression. Reports will be sent home to parents in Week 10. This week we welcome back Mrs. Price and Mrs. Gorton. I would like to thank Mr. Cunningham and Miss Bates for their hard work and commitment. Last week, the SRC hosted a fundraiser in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Thanks to those students who assisted in the selling of drink bottles and to Mrs. Doyle and the P&C for organising the event. YEAR HOSTING

During term 4, each school year will be having a turn being involved with ‘Year Hosting’ in the Canteen. Year 6 parents will have an opportunity to participate in the end of year/end of primary school activities planned for their children.

Please find the week/s that are applicable to you, choose a day that suits you best and send your form back so we can have lots of participation from each years families. On lunch order days you will be working with our Canteen Co-coordinator Mel Caldwell who organises the day and ensures everything runs smoothly. Our canteen is air-conditioned, lunch is provided and most importantly, your involvement directly helps your children.

Week starting

28th November – Year 1

21st November – Year 2 5th December – Kindergarten

The canteen is open from 8.45 am to 2.00pm, Monday, Wednesday & Friday

(lunch order days) and 12.30pm to 2pm Tuesday & Thursday. Any time is very much appreciated.

Our whole school hopes to benefit from this new class hosting system with parents given another

opportunity to get to know one another, help their school, encourage year team work that brings the home and school together and giving families a better understanding of our canteen and what it has to offer.

Forms can be returned to canteen or office. Please contact our canteen

co-ordinator Mel on 0422335939 if you require further information.
