The Piano Quartet in Eb major by Antonin Dvorak, a work infused with all the exuberance and lyricism of the Czech folk idiom, forms the focal point of the program, which also includes such favourites as Dvorak’s Songs my Mother Taught Me and Janacek’s poignant piano suite On an Overgrown Path.
