Bodybuilding Lifestyle Tips - InfoBarrel

I see and hear about too many people being miserable while bodybuilding. I have a hard timeunderstanding this. I love bodybuilding and I love the lifestyle. I love the diet, I eat a healthy mealevery few hours. I love to lift weights, it is to this day the best outlet I've ever found. I love the cardioand I love looking great! Here are a few tips to make your journey more enjoyable!

Coffee: Drink it!

Especially if you are on a low-carb diet. No need to be running around dragging knuckles all daylong just because you're not eating carbs. Sure you can't have your white chocolate iced mochaanymore, but coffee is still doable. I use a sugar substitute that is carbohydrate free. I drink 3 to 4cups a day! Mmmm...Coffee!!!

Water: Drink it!

Remember that muscle is 70% water! Water is an absolute necessity in this lifestyle. Your body willnot be able to repair muscle without adequate water consumption, and your body will not burn fatwithout adequate water consumption. Drinking water is not only good for you, but can help you feelfull if you're having a hard time sticking to your diet. The common recommendation for waterconsumption in this lifestyle is 1 gallon a day. I know it sounds like a lot, but it's really not, andhaving a water bottle to take with you everywhere makes this much easier. I have a 1 liter waterbottle I take with me everywhere. I try to drink at least 3 L of water a day and never drink less than2 L.

Sleep: Do it!

When we sleep our muscles heal and grow. Our minds reset, our stresses dissipate and not tomention the average person loses up to two pounds when sleeping! I love waking up in the morningand looking in the mirror! Try to always get at least 8 hours of sleep a night, and 10 hours a nightnever hurt anyone!

Cardio: Do it!

There is no better way to trim the fat off your bulging or sleek muscles like cardio. When I am doinga cutting cycle, I tend to do 1 hour of cardio first thing in the morning and 1 hour of cardio right

before bed (burning 1300 calories a day). I just rinse off in the shower, slip into some boxers and hitthe hay. I find that if I am doing a bulk cycle, and I am having trouble eating all my meals, rampingup the cardio ALWAYS increases my appetite.

Routine: Have one!

I try to eat every 2 or 2.5 hours, while working from home for 5 hours a day, with two kids at home, followed by a workout for an hour and a half every day. If I can accomplish this, you can manage aeating/work schedule. A daily routine goes a long way in helping these habits be a part of your lifechange for a better body!
