Body Percussion Sounds
CLAPPInG
Clapping is one of the most differentiated body percussion sounds. The sounds are as diverse as the different hand positions that can be used. Loud, gentle, deep and high sounds can be created, depending on the clap.
The clapping hand loosely claps on the palm of the other hand. As the right hand is most likely your active hand, the hand usage will be represented with an “R”. Try to create a sound that is as consistent as possible.
Palm Clap
For the star clap you clap both palms with your fingers spread apart. When you hit the right spot, a bright, loud sound is created.
